Time to give it its own thread, now you can try it.

Version 0.1

The doc is included, but here's a link to my copy so you can look before you download.

This includes the body armour, helmet, and a Scimitar you can make for yourself. Blades Shield and Steel Plate Gauntlets and Boots are recommended accessories.

Note that you need Linen Wraps to make the body armour, not a usual ingredient, but it seemed appropriate for the cape.

I need a few action shots before I post to the Nexus, as well as a second set of eyes (or more) to look it over.

Yay, I love this armor! Alesan Mikkesson is going to look very hot when he gets his Advanced Armors perk. smile.gif

I took a look with Jensa and Stenvar, and even though they do not look as gorgeous as your Redguards in the armor, I think they look pretty awesome. When I fooled around with the ground models (at least I think that’s what they’re called), I kept losing the helmets but had no trouble with the armor or scimitars. The helmet would not stay with the prompt to pick it back up. I don’t know how to explain it, but here’s a screen shot of finding the prompt after the helmet has rolled or bounced away. Then again this is Jensa’s battered old save, so it might just be her. By the way, I love that she does not go bald when she puts the helmet on!

Here is a screen of their backs to show the cape at the shoulders. (I know the gauntlet clipping is inevitable, and I should have put different gauntlets on Stenvar for this picture. Sorry! He was wandering around naked for a while and I got distracted.)

For the tiniest nit ever, in your ReadMe incompatibilities you probably don’t need “Anything that alters the location chosen.” Other than that you should not trust my proofreading eyes. kvleft.gif Also, I am always amazed by the quality of your documentation!

I am so excited about this armor! Thank you, ghastley!

That clipping seems to depend on the weight slider, and may not be there at other settings. I had to fiddle with the top of the female one for ages, as it covered her boobs at either end of the scale, but her nipples poked out half-way. I still haven't worked out how linear interpolation can do that. blink.gif

The helmet seems to have retained an armature I'd deleted. That needs fixing.

Edit: found the problem with the helmet and fixed it, but the cape and pauldron are moving relative to each other right now, and bone weighting issues are slow to fix.

Well, Jensa is at the big end of the scale, and if anyone could manage a rogue nipple, it would be her. Looks like you solved it! laugh.gif

Try this one. The helmet no longer falls through the floor/ground.

Version 0.2

The pauldrons and cape will still clip, but maybe not so much. The cuirass should not poke through any more on the male. I found that if I moved the cape with the pauldrons, it looked worse than the clipping, so I undid that change.

I'm still fiddling with this one. I made a variant on the helmets that has longer chainmail that tucks into the top of the steel breastplate. That meant weighting it to the shoulders, as well as the head.

Mrs Al-Satakalaami models it outside Breezehome.

I stopped fiddling, and published.

Version 1.0 is now on the Nexus.

Now back to the wagon.

I can't stop staring at Julia's follower. ghastley, I love this armor!! biggrin.gif
ghastley
And I like that scimitar. Where did he get that?
Grits
That is the Ebony Scimitar from Immersive Weapons. Julia found it in a loot chest but it was too big for her (Breton). Then she spotted Asrael right after Lydia starting bugging out on her, so she upgraded her follower and gave him that blade. At that point I thought, Redguard Heavy Armor, yesss!!! biggrin.gif
Renee
Yes, finally some new armor for Alik'r. Nicely done, ghastley.
