KC, those are great! In the mountain shots, the sky looks almost Shivering Isles-like with the speckled clouds - beautiful. And the water around the IC bridge is very neat. Great screenies!

Toggles collision off. Then you can fly! Just don't run into things because I heard you can get stuck in them randomly. I like it better than the flying camera for scenes without Aravi because you can actually move fast.

When Aravi looked over at the mountains I knew I had to take some screens. Glad you enjoyed them.

I noted that a couple of the vamps appeared pantsless. Is that so they can more quickly grab their back up sword if disarmed?

Very exciting stuff. You could really see the effects of Aravi's fatigue mod near the end.

It should give you some more flexibility with adding Aravi's voices.

That’s a neat mod, but I have the functionality that I want with the mod I made. I will bookmark it however, in case I decide I want more. What I really want is sound files, preferably Imoen files. The sound set came with a limited selection and there are so many situations that I’d like a comment in, but no file fits. The sound set doesn’t even come with a basic ‘no.’

BOLD: I'm with King Coin on needing more voiced sound files (WAV). Do you know where they can be gotten? Most of the character voice files in the "Oblivion Sound Sets" mod are from things like "Planescape Torment" and stuff like that. Is there a way to get more of these sound files that may have more dialogue on them? That would be AWESOME !!

Oh how sweet !!! Did you hear Vilja say "Leave my friend alone!" - Awesome !! ... GAAAAAAH !!!!! ARGH !!! What is happening? URG !!!! Poor Aravi !!!!!

I am not really very aware of PC voice mods, because I don't really want one in my game (other than if I were to voice the lines myself, but since my current character is female, that would end up sounding quite odd).

There is also a "for companions" version of that mod, which might allow for KC to cook up some interesting conversations with Vilja. But again, the lack of PC voices is a definite problem here.

Like I said on Acadian’s post, I’m not sure why that was happening.

Despite all her faults Vilja is a good friend.

I’ll check into that other voice set, however Vilja already talks a lot. I wonder if there will be overlap if I try that one. I found some more Imoen dialog lines from the games, but they are compressed in a strange way and cannot be played by media player.

@ TK - That happened to me too, TK. I found some extra "Annah Torment" sound files in a Sound Set download from the "Sorcerers Place." - the sound files say they are WAV, but none of my Sound File Converters or Audio Editing software will open the WAV to listen to it (or convert it).

By the way, a word of warning for anyone downloading freeware or shareware Sound File Converters, stay away from the "Switch" one - it sucks, and they won't give you any tech support unless you buy their full product.

I spent all night HAND converting 2347 sound files from MP3 to WAV because it doesn't work automatically. The setting I put for it to convert to was WAV 22050 Mono. What came out of the converter was WAV 44100 Mono. WTH? They do not support their freeware/shareware products, so I just stayed up all night working my butt off for nothing. I'm tired and mad, lol.


@ - King Coin Like Aravi, I felt what she was feeling as she went off to be alone and think over what was happening after that last vid !!! I mean, where do the nightmares end and reality step in? Is she turning into a vampire or are the nightmares driving her mad? Bless her heart !!!

When she comes back, there is the feeling that she had been gone days, not just hours.

Whew!! I take it from the sunrise that it was a dream. I enjoyed the calm pace of this video very much, KC. There’s a time for rushing around, and I’m glad you showed us Aravi’s quiet time to herself.

Good idea to leave Vilja at the inn, if Aravi had to hear about purple flying whatever plant while the sun was coming up, Vilja might have finally earned a smack. And she has been sweet lately.

mALX: You should probably look into Audacity. It's a marvelous free audio editor.

I'm not sure it has quite that functionality, but for almost everything audio related, Audacity is a great tool.

Thanks mALX! I’m not answering any questions, you shall see! I’m glad you get that feeling from this video. She really could have been gone several days. I’ll leave that up to open interpretation. I liked that part in the original Maxical story were she goes off into the mountains. I was thinking of that when Aravi went off on her own.

Thank you Grits! I get a kick out of your comments. She really needed some time to herself. She couldn’t face Vilja right away after what she experienced. I used to worry that videos like that would be boring and nobody would like them. I’ve been trying to work on them so that the fast paced and slow paced videos go well together with some success I think. Still learning about that. The comments help me judge my success.
