That is exactly how it hit me !! It reminded me of that too !!

Very effective how Aravi had that flashback to her nightmare !!! She is not acting like her normal self, and Vilja seems to sense the difference, or so it seemed by the way she kept popping up behind Aravi in the vid, lol.

Vilja's popping and close following almost gave the feeling of Aravi being hounded in this vid !!

You continue to display a mastery of somehow capturing emotional content in your vids. Like all your work, this was so very well done.

At the very beginning, Aravi seemed reluctant to approach Vilja. Then when they started talking, it felt almost like a goodbye. When she looked back at the cottage and Vilja was standing there (in that dress!) I was so worried that Aravi was going to tell her to stay, for her own protection or something.

When Vilja spoke up in Red Rose Manor, I was so relieved! I second Acadian’s observation, you have created emotional content even though the only dialog comes from menu options. Very well done!!

Aravi really was distracted because she hardly noticed Vilja, and didn't even notice being hounded. I was very pleased how the flashback worked in so nicely. Thanks mALX!


Yes she's out of Aleswell at the very least until the nightmares end. Thanks for the compliments! Anyone can make a video bashing things so I'm trying to work in some emotions. It's more interesting if you care about the character.


It took her courage to approach Vilja. The nightmare really disturbed her because it seemed so real and it would be so easy to feed on Vilja if she did turn into a vampire. It actually did enter her mind to tell Vilja to stay but she really couldn't push away her best friend. Selfish maybe?
Like I said to Acadian, anyone can make a video of just bashing things. That wouldn't be as interesting if you didn't care about the character would it? I'm glad my efforts have been successful! Thanks Grits!

A trip to Morrowind! Amazing what you can coax out of someone with a charm spell, no?

Nice banter between Vilja and Aravi. Perhaps the snow and ice and more ice is nice for a Nord like Vilja, but I'm with Aravi in not being impressed.

Charm is definitely one of the more useful spells in the game. Vilja could have done a better job selling Solstheim. That whole snow and ice part could have been left out .

Just a small bit of it, but it's still cool!

Vilja confirmed some myths about Nords and blondes in general when she mentioned the snow and ice as a selling point to a Khajiit. Nice one, Vilja. And then maybe a lovely vacation at Wellspring Cave. Well, the last time I was there, it was not relaxing. I see why Vilja is not a travel agent.

And oh wow, Morrowind! Could the battle standard be one of those bolts of cloth? And is it me, or did the blond guy have a really big axe? Fun quest!

Those two were great. Those Nords are terrible housekeepers. Don't you think so Vilja? Not like those nice orcs at all.

Some of Vilja's dialogue was priceless and it was great to see you work in a couple comments from Aravi.

Quite an intense fight with the Nords, and nice to Aravi use her Mara special power.

We couldn't find the Standard. She goes back for it, don't worry. I really liked that line, it fit that situation quite well.

I was surprised the orcs started yelling at her after she took the shoes. I was just glad that they didn't take it from her.

Wow, during that fight with the lich, Aravi really showed her ability to shoot quickly (and accurately) and dodge spells. She must have a really big pair to keep shooting the lich while Vilja was engaged in melee with it, but she didn't hit Vilja. Wow again!

"How come ogres where shoes and trousers? Doesn't that strike you as odd?"
"Ya know, Vilja, we've wondered the same thing many times as well."

I noted a couple times Vilja didn't enter combat when she should have. Is there a control spell or something to help her out in cases like that and remind her of her duties?

Lucky for Aravi, Vilja was lower on the steps than the lich so she just needed to aim higher. Else she would not have been able to keep shooting like she did.

You know, I haven't wondered why they wear trousers, just thankful that they do.

I have Vilja set to be passive, but she so rarely is passive that when she is, it's quite a shock really. There is a control spell for her.

Another freaky nightmare! Holy Cow !!! I thought it was really very much Aravi's personality that she ran to check on Methredhel to be sure it was just a nightmare - and funny that no one woke up when she and Vilja broke in the house even though they were not sneaking, and even though Vilja was blabbing her head off, ROFL !!! Maybe Methredhel was sleeping off a heavy night of drinking, lol.

Those potions may come in handier than Vilja thinks, lol. Boy does Vilja get ticked off when you tell her to clean up the mess !!! ROFL !!!

Loved these vids !!!

Another wonderfully done dream sequence. This time of a wood elven blood bath. I'm glad she went to see that Methie and Car were all right.

And the end of the Morrowind quest. Sending Vilja to do the shopping and cleaning. Lol. I must admit that cure disease potions are much more handy than another set of silver.

That nightmare was fun to make. It's a shame that the video got messed up by something.
Aravi needed to be sure that it was only a nightmare and not real. They are really wearing her down.

I was pleasantly surprised when Vilja actually bought something useful.

The whole house-cleaning part had me smiling. She does grouse about a little mess!

Oh wow, the, ah, cool thing Aravi found! (Don’t want to spoil it ) Neat to see what it does. Vilja is really being sweet. Maybe she’s one who can’t relax until the house is tidy.

Nice to see them take some time to just enjoy life for awhile.

That magic stone is Awesome !! Did it not work till she found the magic crystal? Aravi's tail swishes like a fish's tail when she swims - so cute! And I agree with Grits, fascinating "item" she found !!! Cool to find something new after having been there so long !!

A nice relaxing interlude. That underground grotto at Red Rose Manor is lovely! And the manor looks like it has a teleportation statue! For a moment, I was afraid Aravi was going to teleport naked to Bravil! Vilja was very sweet.
