QUOTE(Grits @ Dec 15 2011, 06:43 AM) I vote for a feather thong with dangling bones. For decoration. Heavily enchanted, of course.
-snip-
I also vote for it, except without the dangling bones or the feather. Soap is a lie! A LIE I SAY!!! Silly people don't understand what true manliness is xD Either way, not much in my end, playing as my Altmer Necromancer, I'm trying to remember where the Alchemist shack is. Having fun so far with him, using the zombie and the summon familiar spell as my main weapons, and of course I got the ritual stone, because it's ability fits so perfectly with a Necromancer Wonder what else could fit with the Necromancer's theme. Any suggestions? You know for home decorations, attacks ect ect? This post has been edited by Fawkes: Dec 16 2011, 05:59 AM

I can't remember what dungeon I delved in to get it, but I somehow have half of a bloody head stuck in my inventory (says it is a quest item, so can't be removed - and IS adding weight !!). Helvd's Bloody Head or something. I'm sure it is a great thing to have around, just wish it wasn't stuck in my inventory with no quest person to give it to! URK !! @ Grits - I just love that last chapter! I have been carrying around the cloaks afraid to trust/use them, now I guess I will have to, lol. * This post has been edited by mALX: Dec 16 2011, 06:08 PM

Well, that could be a good thing, or a very bad thing. Prank wars with mages can get... flashy. This post has been edited by liliandra nadiar: Dec 16 2011, 06:28 PM

mALX, when you're tired of playing with Habd's remains, I put a suggestion in the Spoiler section (new thread). If it's half of someone else's bloody head, uh, good luck. I should also mention that J'Zargo does not offer to re-grow whiskers in the game. QUOTE(liliandra nadiar @ Dec 16 2011, 12:28 PM) Well, that could be a good thing, or a very bad thing. Two young man cats on the loose, I can't imagine that will be trouble! This post has been edited by Grits: Dec 16 2011, 06:59 PM

J’Zargo is awesome. He has a great voice, a positive attitude, and he’s very fast with the shock spells. The only problem is that his kills tend to go flying. It’s funny when they crash into walls, not so much when you have to chase a dead bandit down the mountain for its loot. I am endlessly grateful to Maxical and Aravi for inspiring me to try a Khajiit character, and then double the fun! Jensa is not cooperating with the mystic archer plan. She is more of a, hmm, barbarian. Mystic barbarian? I doubt it. Still, I’m putting some points into magicka in the hope that she’ll warm up to the higher level spells. Or maybe it’s just Illusion that she dislikes. She has the archer part covered, though. A nearly naked archer who likes to finish the fight with four feet of steel. Yeah, she’s going to need some perks in Alteration.

QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 17 2011, 10:33 AM) QUOTE(Grits @ Dec 17 2011, 07:24 AM) He misses you too, McB. He's all alone in his box. He wants to come back out and play! I read this in my email box and immediately thought you were talking about Jerric! Jerric is running out of patience with me, but at least he's not all alone. It's Lildereth who worries me. If she gives me the eye, you'll see an update within days. She's scary!! Here's a page from Jensa's journal. (There's a discussion of the player's first entrance into Solitude.) QUOTE(Grits @ Dec 17 2011, 01:01 PM) Here's a page from Jensa's journal. Well it was cold last night, and now I know why Sven’s girl ditched him for a Bosmer. He may have a bard’s honeyed tongue, but a warrior should be known for his sword work. It was cold because we’re up in Haafingar hold, west of Solitude. We’re on a peace mission for those folks in Whiterun, trying to get their boy back from the Thalmor. Sven figures he has a good chance of persuading them to let the boy go. I figure he’ll talk at them long enough for me to work out a plan. Now that I’ve seen a real city, I think I might be in over my head. I don’t even have the words to describe Solitude. I guess I’ll just have to remember it. There was trouble as soon as we walked through the gate. This time I had nothing to do with it. A big crowd was gathered in the market square watching an execution. Now I could stand to never see another axe, but I just had to stay once I got a look at the prisoner’s face. He looked like I felt right before I made a scene at my own execution. Well, it doesn’t help to kick the guards, you just end up with a knee in your back and your arms about pulled from your shoulders. Sooner or later, your throat is on the block. I’ve never heard of anyone else who stood up after being in that situation. I guessed that fellow could use the support of someone who’s been there. I pushed up to the front, and of course Sven was right behind me. I don’t know if he saw me or Sven, but we were the only ones in the crowd who weren’t weeping or yelling at him. I guess it helped because he pulled himself together. “On this day I go to Sovngarde,” he said real calm before he knelt down. And then I guess he went. Turns out they took his head because he opened the gate after Ulfric killed the High King. They’re saying it was murder. Some say it was a fair fight. I don’t know, because I wasn’t there. I know this, though. Ulfric Stormcloak has a lot to answer for. If he won in a fair fight, why did he run? If I ever get to Windhelm I’m going to tell him how Roggvir the gate guard died for him, just for doing his job. He should know. Very powerful rendition of the scene - even more so Jensa's inner thoughts afterward. I did have to laugh at her inner thoughts about Sven though - Maxical saw that weak chin from a mile away and avoided him like the plague.

An arrow to the knee? That seems to be quite a big issue in Skyrim! Surprisingly, I have seen arrows sticking out of Maxical's head, but she manages to keep going. So all these Nord men griping about their poor knee need to look elsewhere for a bride, ROFL !!!

QUOTE(Thomas Kaira @ Dec 18 2011, 03:03 AM) Main Quest is done. Now, until Bethesda gets some of these bugs wrung out, I am returning to Cyrodiil. See all you Skyrimmers later! WOO HOO !!! I may join you once I've done everything that isn't glitching at least once, lol.
