I think I will have Aravi create Hero armor, or else I’ll just place a set where she can get it. Screens first: Inspired by Aravi to pay a visit to Meridia? The orc looks a little funny with an elegant circlet on her head, and a crude haircut like that. Vid: Cleansing the Star, another good quest. Aravi will get to it eventually. Good choice, resist magicka will be very useful in this upcoming battle. That was intense! I was wondering how long that atronach was going to last. It seemed to whether the attack ok though. How is Aranea as a companion? I think I saw her in one of the screen shots.

Acadian: Azura's voice does not do much for me in Skyrim. Though at least it is not one of those horrible Cockney accents like Vile Clavicle has. I agree that Hera could wait that 100 years. The Star is really just a paperweight for her anyway. Grits: I love how the inside of the star looks. I keep expecting to see Superman's dad somewhere in there. I was a little bummed that it ended so quickly. Hera never even had the chance to see the whole place. I have only had one other character do that quest, and Scylla got her butt kicked by those dremora's fireballs. Hera did much better. It helps that she has about 20 or 30% magic resistance thanks to her Alteration perks. I just wish she could have stayed longer and explored a bit. King Coin: I think you can get most of the pieces of the Hero armor in one of the Nord barrows. Of course I cannot remember which one. It might be in the wiki though. Or you could look through the CS. Hera won the random jackpot and found Meridia's Beacon in random loot. Otherwise she would not have bothered. But since she found it, I figured she might just as well get it done. Even though Dawnbreaker is just a trophy on the wall at home. I thought Borgakh looked funny too with almost no hair and the circlet. It gave something like a +30% damage to archery though, and the emerald at least matched her skin. Areana was a good companion. She uses ice spikes and lightning bolts. With no area effect attacks, she rarely hits you by accident. She does not instantly attack everything that moves, which is nice, so she is good for a sneaky person. Plus since she wears clothing, she does not make extra noise from armor. I think she and Faendal are my two favorites. Of course I always tweak anyone I take as a companion, to make them essential, give them the light step perk, etc... Hera doing what she is good atAgainAnd AgainAnd AgainAnd AgainAlduin is hungryMy newest character AncastaShe is a mage/tomb raider, and I was going for a librarian kind of look for her. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Jun 11 2012, 09:40 PM

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jun 20 2012, 02:45 PM) Ancasta bought Breezehome. She was terribly disappointed to find that there is not a single bookcase in the entire house! Clearly she is going to have to upgrade to a more literary-friendly abode. I do not know if I will have time to make her one though. Things have gotten very busy with work lately.
I've taken to using this mod for Breezehome, has plenty of book spaces and a basement with a bath/pool and a sauna. *bliss* I've been the victim of Day Eye a few times, it certainly lets you know you have it on. Same with fogs for whatever reason. Glad to see Ancasta's settling in nicely to the field mage mold and not the bookish, never-gunna-go-out librarian type.

LOL! She looks so disappointed sitting in front of Dagon’s shrine. That’s a cool mod, making Azura visible. I actually never noticed that she wasn’t… I understand why it wasn’t though, just looking at that picture. It dominates the horizon. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jun 20 2012, 07:45 PM) Ancasta bought Breezehome. There are two rather small book cases in Breezehome. Too easy to fill them up though. This post has been edited by King Coin: Jun 21 2012, 02:43 AM

I like the black armor on her a lot, and I LOVE her eyes. Perhaps a different shade of lipstick? Just a thought. Also, does she really need armor? I'm sure there are great clothing mods for stealth archers, if she's the shadowy type. I always enjoy when you start a new character, because I learn something when I look up her name.

Acadian: Illusion is not as potent as it is in Oblivion. There are no Command spells for example. But its Calm spells can still work wonders when bad guys get too close. Right now that is Andraste's main panic button. Unfortunately some people can be too high level for it to work on. Andraste is indeed an Altmer. They have become my favorite race in Skyrim. Not because of anything stat-wise. I just like how they look the best. King Coin: As usual, I did not get the actual Theives Guild armor. I just made a mod that makes it craftable, unenchanted, and with the same stats as leather armor. It has a good, no-nonsense look to it. Like something any commoner might wear. In fact, I think it would look good in Fallout too. I used the Mystic Eyes mod for her eyes. I like it, because it does not replace the vanilla textures. So it plays nice with other eye mods. Grits: Unfortunately, the game only gives us what, 5 lipstick shades? I have a mod that gives more color variables, but it adds so many (hundreds) that I usually do not use it. Because you asked I turned it back on to change her makeup. She does need armor, at least at this point. Her archery is still low, so a lot of people tend to get in close and wallop on her. Besides, I like how a lot of the armor looks. The regular clothing in the game is pretty blah. The clothing mods are terrible. Well, unless you like maid outfits or the porn-star look. Its funny you mention my character names, because I learn some things too! I have had a lot more fun with character names ever since I started using ones from mythology and history. Some of them I know in and out, like Kirke, Medea, The Morrigan, Babd, etc... But ones like Ancasta or Tomoe Gozen I had to look up. I found a cape remover for the nightingale armorSo no clipping with her bow and quiverAndraste hangs out with the local skankShe also visited the local MAC counter, and found a new lipstick. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Jun 30 2012, 02:54 AM

Andraste huh? She planing on starting a rebellion/church? I went hunting around Skyrim Nexus last weekend for some light armors, I found several that work without being (too much) a chain mail bikini. There's the Imperial Investigator Armor which is my leading favorite. The Leah armor is nice, though a bit OP, not bad if you want to have one armor for the whole game (it has several pieces and quickly gets upgraded to the armor cap), still it looks niceMy thief/illusionist uses the Dark Wind v3 w/shirt, it isn't able to be tempered by default, but it looks very piratical and the 'low' AR is not much of a worry when she never gets into a protracted fight. The Thieves Guild Duelist armor, is a more solid, practical feeling version of the Karliah armor mod. Though I don't have anyone using it at the moment. Oh, and Acadian, Invisibility is still around but Paralysis is now an Alteration spell (with Mass Paralysis one of the Master level spells for the school). And while there's no 'Command' class, Fury works wonders as long as you can cast is from stealth. Bethany cleared out a room of four undead and a necromancer by fury'ing the 'mancer and letting him take out the undead before she slipped her knife in his back.
