I would post often, but I should be sleeping by now. I have to wake up super early and practice my swimmning laps right before work. Can't fail the test! But tomorrow afternoon I will be available.

Edit: But seriously, there is only so much that some of us can reply to. Sometimes I come back and there are tons of posts already. I can't simply reply to them all, though of course they are between other characters. It is why Uleni and Colonel raised the idea of having a posting order in the first place I suppose.

Don't get me wrong. Short posts are fine, but one liners and brief dialogue aren't usually accepted in RP's. At least the one's I've been to. The ones that are fine range from one or more paragraphs. But since it's the first time for some, and of course the rules for this RP might be different, I am not bothered by it as much

In my post, I nudged things along so we can advance the plot proper and begin the real thing. If people think its a little rushed and want some more time getting to know each other, I'll edit it. But come on, I think we've interacted enough already. We have thirteen pages of that

Well, I was just waiting for you to post and then was going to get things moving myself, so that's fine.

I’m still learning the ropes here, of course. With quite a few players, it is challenging to finish conversations or really get to know the characters at this point. I expect that is why it has taken us so long to get to where our characters are just beginning to get a feel for each other. I’d like to hope that as they travel and adventure, they will learn more about each other and form the bonds that sharing hardship often spawns. I always prefer to focus on the journey over the destination, so this has been great fun so far.

That said, I see no reason that our skilled and patient GMs cannot nudge things into the next phase.

I’m also hoping that dear Elaninde will emerge just a bit more from her plate armor shell and share more of her thoughts and words with us. And, of course, I’m sorry to hear that Coin-Eye will not be joining our merry band.

Aaand the official briefing post is up. Q&A time will commence, and then we're all set to get going!

Actually, no. Colonel's the GM now. We take turns you see. Kinda like a tag-team match. He now has the highest authority over us, at least until his turn over and mine comes again. I guess we could've told you guys earlier, so my apologies for the confusion.

Hmmm. I'm deciding right now if I should continue with this new character thing, since y'know, Illydoor and PhoenixGamer have become quiet recently..

The taking turns thing makes sense. Keeps from toe-stepping.
