Are you sure you want to play the original Fallout? Not Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas (which are made for both the consoles and PC)? The original is a DOS based sandbox, isn't it?

What he said. Get on Youtube and watch vids for Fallout 1, then watch them for Fallout 3 or New Vegas - huge difference in the game you will be playing. (plus 3 & New Vegas are both console as well as PC games).

I still love that game! There are still about five levels I could not get through, end up eventually skipping every time because I can't beat them, but some of my favorite levels were the really hard ones that it took forever of saying "No" to skipping and finally beat after a billion deaths, lol.

I just love firing up that game in my familys summer cottage on a Friday afternoon with the front door open and my car newly cleaned. The whole weekend is in front of me and I can just sit down and relax.
