Yeah, there is, but shed have to drudge up the gas money to get there. I may lend her some money to get her van there.

If she can't afford gas to get to the Walmart, she would probably get food with the money instead. There is no way to lend someone money in a situation like that, it has to be a gift with no expectation of recompense.

If there is a lunch counter nearby (walking range**), inviting her to lunch and listening to her story (then give her some gas money and directions to the Walmart 24 hour parking lot) is a good idea, and you may find out some other ways she could use help in the conversation. (YWCA bed for the night, or a Women's shelter, etc).

The good thing about my job is it's smack dab in the middle of EVERYTHING. There's a gas station two doors down, food across the street, auto shops on either side of us, a grocery store ALSO across the street, but Wal-Mart is about a mile and a half down the road. I could shell out the ten bucks for a small gas can and fill it with gas, but I'm really strapped for money myself. This is a really poor part of town and everyone is struggling pretty equally. Unless you're a drug dealer. Those jerks pull out wads of cash so large it could pay my rent four times over. And you can't give me a smaller bill than hundred? I see those twenties! Screw your drug money!

When they come in waving their big bucks around, ask them to help that poor woman living in her van - maybe some of them will hand a twenty to her.

Some kid decided to bother me at lunch. I was um....escorted out of the lunchroom by security when I stood up and shouted at him. I just wanna go home before I get mad again, but I need to catch up in school

If you’re not seeing a counselor that you trust, you should. Whoever pays for your health insurance should be able to help you find one. I’m saying this with love, so I hope you won’t take it the wrong way. It’s a pretty short step from being escorted out of the lunchroom to real trouble that you can’t leave behind. I’ve seen it happen from up close, and it’s a whole different story once you’re no longer a minor.

Oh, I'm not a minor, lol. Te reason they didn't do anything is because all I did was shout.

See, I never got in trouble for fighting in school. I don't know why either. Probably because it happened where the authority figures saw and heard everything that had happened to get me to that point.

I'm counting...three times...where I should have gone to the office. Only once was in self-defense, the other two was in defense of others. The last guy I punched ended up moving schools because he got teased so much for getting his butt handed to him by me, both physically and verbally lol
