QUOTE(mALX @ May 19 2013, 03:51 PM) Very Nice! And I see you play Risk! Awesome place, immaculate!
If you look just next to it, that's an XBox case of Morrowind. Where I got the Map for my framed version. Now that I think about it, why the heck do I still have that thing?! I ain't got no XBox, or need for it... EBay, methinks.

I ain't got no XBox, or need for it... EBay, methinks. All I wanted was a quiet little island where I could amass troops for defense and stay out of the world wars. My son was bent on domination, and my peaceful little island was always the first thing he came shooting for. Couldn't win a battle with him, he was tricky. Couldn't win in Monopoly with him for the same reason, he was like a mad tyrant taking over properties and building hotels, always ending up with more money than the bank. Then he'd start making loans you could never pay so he could swipe up your meager properties. The only thing I could beat him in was Battleship. Oh dear. It sounds like your son may instigate the next World War, or be leader of the New World Order....maybe both! But, naw, in Risk....you HAVE to attack. There is no room for defensive Islands. The more territory you control, the less your opponents do. Simple acquisition of resources and controlling the game long term. "The Art of War" applies very much here. Same thing as Starcraft. Whoever controls more of the resources, will most likely win in the long run. That's all any War really is anyway...which your son either understands completely...or has gone drunk with power. Run.

Both, lol. He has always been competative, and he is very quick thinking in any kind of strategy type games or situations.

QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ May 19 2013, 03:23 PM) Leave it to my stepmom to appeal to my sense of responsibility. No roller Derby for Liz. If I get hurt, I'm out of work.
Sigh.

No workman's comp with 75% of your pay while you recover? Isn't that if I get hurt AT work?

I don't know how it works where you are... But I know a guy that got nearly 3 month off of work, PAID, because he was playing a drinking game where you chop beer cans with your hand. He chopped the can alright. And the can shredded his hand.
