I will state, if I ever get a tattoo, it shall only be the Black Rose and Dagger.

Many meanings throughout the years. Originally work by Russian Sailors meaning that they would destroy something as beautiful as a Rose to defend their ships.

Later adopted by Prison Gangs to denote a Hitman/Contract Killer (Ollllllden Days, sees no use now due to decades of decoding)

And, it means many things to me personally. The Black Rose is symbolic of Death/Change in the tarot sense, not necessarily macarbre. And my life changed with the Death of a loved one, my stepfather. Thus the cycle of death and rebirth.

The Dagger is often associated with the Assassin, and in my fan-fic, I 'discovered' that aspect of myself, being both my dark side and creative.

It's often been linked to ancient rituals and spirituality, and I believe that Discretion is the better part of Valor. As in do the right thing, because it's the right thing, not to be vainglorious.

Etc, etc.

Plus, yeah...it looks cool.

When I got my tooth pulled years ago, they just numbed me. They used a needle and injected it into my gums, roof of my mouth, my tongue, my cheek, my entire mouth.

When I got my molar pulled, the dude gave me like five injections in my gum. On the same spot. He didn't even wait long enough for my gum to numb completely and pulled the tooth. My mouth was numb for the rest of the day

Ow. They waited a good bit before pulling mine. I was laughing the whole time because my mom was freaking out. Then I laughed again when they pulled it because the sound it made sounded funny.
