I remember the discussions the adults would have at the bbq's we'd go to. I never understood ANY of it lol

Lol. I used to try and eavesdrop on the adult's conversation when I was a kid. I usually got caught, but it was worth a shot

I'd sit with the adults and pretend to read or stare off into space and they'd think I was oblivious.

But I was gathering Intel.

I'm like that with sneaking. I used to steak my mom's makeup from her purse, and she'd NEVER notice. I always put it in my sisters room and blamed her XD

Exactly. Remind people what they already know rather than stating it outright. Kind of like a picture where you have to tilt your head and say, “Oh…. OH!” when you get it.

I always understood them. The funny part to me growing up was their constant underestimation of me.

Then when I called them out on their BS, the shocked look on their faces was a testament to my youthful smartassery.
