So what will you do till then? I´ll keep looking, but it´s summer now so I´ll be easy about it. Tomorrow I´m gonna cut some grass and paint the garage door we have at our summer place.

That was a huge hurdle, and you made it over! The next hurdle is getting a job, I know you can do it Kobby!

What an I gonna do? Take care of my sister's kids. Play video games. Look for an apartment I can afford.

Do you get money from someplace else while looking for a job?

I get paid to watch children, lol. I watch kids for friends, family, neighbors, the local homicidal maniac.....


But I don't get paid enough and can't pay the mortgage off, so I'm gonna look for an apartment.

There´s always the gas station while applying for GameStop

I hated that place. Couldn't stand it one bit. Can't make myself go back. I'm gonna probably move in with my sis.

Actually- there is more than a bit of truth in that- I only let people I am very comfortable with see the true insanity that lurks within.

@KOB- Congratulations on graduating! Well done! Hmmm... Gamestop... I could perhaps apply to be the resident "angry old game nerd".... And there is a store very close to home... It might come to that, because ALL of the IT workers for the state have to be "reclassified" (job descriptions rewritten) and apply for the new jobs. At which time, regardless of how many years of service we have, we will be on a 1-year "they can fire you if they feel like it" probation.

Pros and cons- I don't like retail. But I do like games. Maybe I could become a top-notch console technician in addition to my sales duties...

My interview for Target is tomorrow morning. Luckily it's a phone interview, or otherwise I'd be in trouble since I was calledinto work tomorrow. My Roomie said the interview is a formality and I pretty much have the job.

I also found out I've already been replaced, they're just waiting on the drug test results.
