Joyetech Ego-C Twist Battery.

You can crank this bad-boy up to higher watt output, which will work with the varying resistances that 'Tanks' and 'Clearomizers' have. It's also the most common threading for all these different brands.

A fully charged battery should last about a day with moderate to heavy use. I carry two 1000mah with me at all times.

Kanger T2 Clearomizer

Reusable at $4.29 versus disposable only from 'Smoke Shops' from $10 up. Your choice.

These no longer have the measurement markings, and a filled 2.6 ml tank should last a whole day about.

I've been using the same tanks since my initial order in March, with no leaking or other issues whatsoever. With moderate use, a head should last from 2 weeks to a month. You get a pack of five heads for $6.99. I advise getting the 75mm as they somehow taste better than the 35mms.

Word of warning. Do not buy the 'T3's' though Kanger makes great products, these bottom coils leak.

Worth looking into is the Kanger mini-Protank There is also a larger version.

This little badass is a bottom coil, and fairly new. It was built to the owner of the website; Edward Newman's specifications. It's glass (pyrex) whereas the T2's are polycarbonate plastic. I've had mine since monday, with no leak issues. It produces *so much* vapor, it is incredible. The fluid goes much faster than with a T2, but the flavor, 'throat hit' and just overall use is....wow. Has that 'something' that smokers are looking for I would say.

Haven't had it long enough to give a long term review, but you'll refill the tank about three times a day with moderate use. Maybe twice with the larger one.

It can be cleaned on the fly, in any regular faucet without excessive drying, making switching between flavors easy and is optimal for trying the different flavors. Same price for the replacement heads, which I've only had mine for five days, but hasn't burnt out yet.

(Change in status. My brother has stolen/guilted mine from me while writing this post, and refuses to return it. Has given me a twenty for the heads. Will def reorder though. Brother also switched from smoking and he was a two-pack a day Nat Sherman smoker. Hates the smell now too...)


Prolly TMI, as it is something new with many things to learn. You'll need a charger for the batteries, as yes, they are rechargeable. Thirty bucks for 300 recharges, versus 10 bucks for a crappy disposable that lasts a day, maybe two and won't give that satisfaction heavy smokers need. Look into a case too.

Look into fluid, or e-liquids as thats the actual stuff that these accessories dispense. I'd recommend seeing if there is a shop that sells them near you. Many Vape Shops also offer taste-testing now, and can educate you better about the details much better than I could.

I will say I go through "Heather's Heavenly Vapes" Based out in GA. They take their time with theirs, as everything is made to order, and they don't use 'flavorings' they use extracts. So 'mango flavor' is actual mango extract, not mango 'flavoring'.

The flavors are.....all over the board. Fruits, coffees, teas, tobaccos. Not just that one website, but in general. This is why I recommend physically going to a shop that you can at least smell them, and try the different nicotine strengths. This is also based on the person, and cannot be generalized.

My brother smoked more than I did, and he's okay with 6mg nicotine, whereas I started with 24mg and am currently at 18mg strength. (usually shortened among Vapers to just the numbers, 6, 12, 18, etc.) just to illustrate the differences.

Also, when in the process of switching, it's different for everyone. I was 50/50, then 70/30, then 90/10 before I had 'the moment'. It's where you vaped for a whole day with no cigarettes, and wake up the next day, and would rather vape with your cup of coffee then smoke, and when you encounter another smoker later, it hits you like a ton of bricks. Oh. My. GOD. Do *I* smell that bad?

It's okay to have a cigarette after that, indeed it's best not too fight it, but rather introduce vaping over smoking to yourself gradually, and not trying to force it. That's why vaping has become so successful for switching and eventually quitting. I may not even quit now, as I enjoy it, and I'm causing virtually no harm to myself or others. And frankly, I smell FANTASTIC!

This info is great, I'm going to show it to him. Just living in the house with a smoker, when I went to visit my Mom last year I could smell the difference in being away from him, the smell gets into my clean clothes even. It was a bit shocking, I guess you get used to the smell if it is in your environment all the time.

He tried to quit using "Chantix" once and got no where, just felt vile from their pills.
