Can I just say-

I DO NOT like yellowjackets!

Went out to mow the yard and got stung twice. Once on the web between left thumb and forefinger and once on the left side of the bridge of my nose.

Needless to say, the lawn mower will have to find its own way home....

This probably brings my lifetime sting total to somewhere near 50.

OUCH on the yellow jackets. Yuck!

We were running late for the movie last night, so I got pushed out of the vehicle to go buy tickets while parking and refreshments were arranged. There was no one but me at the outdoor counter. Me and a very curious bee. I rushed up with cash in hand only to immediately perform a strange and urgent dance in front of about seven bored teenagers behind the glass. Eventually one of them opened their little slot long enough for me to run past and make the money/ticket exchange without getting stung. Saying There was a bee after such a spectacle does exactly nothing to restore ones personal dignity.

At least they didnt laugh until I went inside. Or maybe they just felt sorry for me. tongue.gif
