But YYYY/MM/DD makes most sense. If you put the highest-value digit first in a number, then the year should come before the month before the day (hour, minute, second...)

Oh thanks for lightening the mood.....p.s.DD/MM/YYYY makes more sense We don't follow your European values here Eire! Actually, it does, and I really wish that the world could agree on this! Or at least produce some sort of standardization. As such I always write the name of the month instead of using numbers, unless I've no choice. "September 10, 2013" for example. What I should do is go full pretentious to really confuse people! "Tenth day of the Month of September, Anno Domini Two Thousand Thirteen" This post has been edited by Black Hand: Sep 11 2013, 08:26 PM

I'll see yours and raise you - Roman style.
"ad III id Septembres, MMDCCLXVI AUC."
i.e the third day (inclusive) before the ides (13th) of September, 2766 years after the founding of the city.

QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Sep 11 2013, 08:24 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Sep 11 2013, 12:00 PM) Today I found out that three guys from my former work have been hired at this other place. I just asked the same place and got a no, but they got in I'm sorry . Guess I was too late to ask them, I was occupied with other places. But I think I still have a shot at a position there. I just have to wait. QUOTE(ghastley @ Sep 11 2013, 09:16 PM) But YYYY/MM/DD makes most sense. I agree with this. First you recognize the year, then the month and then finally you narrow it down to the day. The other way around disturbs me greatly. And you dont want to see me disturbed I mean, you never tell the time by starting with the second or minute and then move up to the hour, now do you? True!!! hahahaha QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Sep 11 2013, 11:18 PM) I don't CARE how many other ways there are to write dates. I'm sticking to the way I was taught to read dates, and I'm not changing my ways SO AM I!!! So there!
