Couples profiles confuse the hell out of me. I would never ask my husband to share a facebook with me.

I may be crazy but I believe that some day when our understanding of biology and genetics is more advanced that we will conquer death, at least death by causes associated with aging.

I do not think however that this will happen for several generations. We'll all be dead and gone if there ever is a breakthrough that would allow humans to stop aging or at least extend the length of time that you can live comfortably.

I've actually greatly considered that, Kiln. And even pondered writing a story about a modern day lich (who survives entirely through use of--less-than-moral tactics). It'd probably never work outside the domain of fiction, but I'd love to test it sometime. Just to see if it'd work.

I don't do social networking outside of forums. You give up too much personal information to so many people it is insane. At least on forums I can remain semi-anonymous.

I also think that social networking causes lots of unnecessary drama that I'd just prefer to avoid.
