I need to take something for my allergies. I'm coughing, my throat is dry and I'm stopped up. I don't like it.

Really? They make my teeth hurt. Everything from the base of my neck up is in pain usually. Not today. Right now, just a cought, slight sore throat, and stuffiness.

Yeah, it's really wierd. My upper gums tingle in a really painful way that makes me wanna bite down on something.

Wait, did you take all your meds for the strep throat? Have you had your wisdom teeth pulled? Is your tongue or the roof of your mouth white patchy looking? Is it possible you have petite mal seizures?

I'm done with my strep medicine, and the roof of my mouth ain't patchy.

My throat is sure , my gums tingle, my head hurts, and my nose is running.

It could be your wisdom teeth, they should have been pulled by the age you are now, or may be just coming in right now. What about your tonsils, have you had them taken out?

You should have had your tonsils out as a child. Look in the mirror with your mouth open wide, see two things hanging in the back of your throat? If they are there, are they swollen and red?

My tonsils never got infected.

I didn't have mine removed until I was an adult.

They only remove them here if they become a problem. I got tonsillitis to many times I ended up missing too much school and unable to complete it, and every time I got it, they got larger and larger until I could barely breathe.

I don't recall ever having tonsillitis.

Most children that retain their tonsils stay ill longer and get ill more often than those with them removed; and if you wait till you are an adult to get them out it is a more major surgery than doing it as a child.
