QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 7 2013, 08:31 PM) QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Nov 7 2013, 09:29 PM) He needs much more creativity in that mind of his. Morrowind was awesome, Oblivion was awesome, then skyrim was eh. There wasn't enough depth to questlines.
But what about other stuff? I understand Skyrim has less clutter and weapons and armor don´t degrade, is that true? Yeah the game has fewer skills, there are fewer spells, spellmaking is gone, signs have been removed and turned into a blessing system similar to the 9 divines, classes went away, and weapons/armor never degrade. Placing items onto shelves is also very annoying because due to the broken physics system, items frequently fly randomly all over the house when you enter it. This makes it pretty pointless IMO to bother hand placing anything almost anywhere. The item boxes are also very large so two things can't be sat close together without causing an explosion of flying items that you just spent 15 minutes tediously positioning. That said there are lots of good things about Skyrim as well. The quest system provides with infinite small quests to keep you running around killing time, the environment is beautiful, the main quest as well as all of the DLC quests are very entertaining and expand on the ES lore quite a bit, the world can be interacted with more, and the combat has been further improved. It is a mixed bag for me. Some aspects have improved but at the same time it is hard not to notice how many skills, spells, and various other small things have went away in favor of simplicity.

QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Nov 7 2013, 08:41 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 7 2013, 03:40 PM) It can still damage you since it´s silver But it's on the verge of breaking. It takes more than one hit to kill me Not if I do it right QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 7 2013, 08:43 PM) Interesting, Kiln. If I ever get my hands on a PS3 I think I´m gonna try it and see what I think. Maybe. If I´m not too occupied with Arena through Oblivion! @Kobby - The silver will still burn you And when it breaks I can always stab him iwth what's left QUOTE(Rohirrim @ Nov 7 2013, 08:43 PM) Shoulda spent more time farming the Market District, Thorny Boy. Well you expect Orcs to be good smiths. They make some damn good armour after all.

I still think they stole that design form the Mongols. And yet I've never so much as heard of an Orcish horse archer How on Nirn did they do it?

There's a thread about it in the community discussion section over at the Bethesda Forums. Google's trying to push Google Plus on everyone seems to basically be the gist of it. Edit: An article shamelessly pilfered from that thread about what's going on@ linkThis post has been edited by Callidus Thorn: Nov 7 2013, 10:09 PM
