Actually, the NWC cart is not mint. I´ve opened it up to gawk at all the goodies inside and I´ve even test played it a couple of times. Unfortunately it´s an American game so it doesn´t work properly on my console. It may not be mint, but it´s very pristine

I've often heard it said that videogames are art. I'd even argue it myself, but I doubt it was ever meant to be taken so literally.

Basically anything can be art, especially if it has original creativity. If you like it however is another thing

Hey, did anyone ever thought of how cruel it is to give a snowman a scarf? I mean, it´s practically a death sentence for him!

Considering what passes for "art" these days, I wish people didn't think in those terms.

Ugh, still can't stop writing. More than three pages now, and I've just reached the Emperor's final speech.

Why can't they be art? They're forms of creative expression and some of them have artistic merit, so why not?

Sure, the contents, the game.

But NES cartridges as art?

The cart, the box, the manual. It´s all open for creative design.

Well yeah, but to my mind that's rather like going to see the Mona Lisa or something, and ignoring the picture to look at the frame.

Sure, it might be a nice frame, but the real art is inside it.

To a collector, it´s the whole thing
