QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 6 2013, 05:28 PM) Yeah, but 18 of them was in one big bundle and I only got those because of one game; World Class Track Meet! Would have preferred if it was on its own cart and not on a triple, but I couldnīt resist when I saw it. Well... I suppose that's different... *mutterssomethingaboutcollectors* QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 6 2013, 05:28 PM) What books did you get?

The Celts would of defended those monasteries....then destroyed them themselves. The Celts? Barbarians, I say! I mean, good gods, they wear trousers! What even are those?! Because the gold cart was actually Legend of Zelda, not NWC, apparently.

Hrrm. Iīve only seen him do that like 30 times Started to watch James back in ī07 As Rohirrim said he didnīt smash real NWC games (of course), and neither one of the real carts belonged to him at all but to Pat who also starred in the video. The video was done the way it was because it provided a good story of greed, so the whole thing with James finding it in the box he got was all made up Whatīs really exciting for me is that amongst all his NES games (he practically owns one of every game that was ever made), he doesnīt have one particular game which I happen to own; Mr. Gimmick! [Documentary voice] And here we see the collector, one of the strangest creatures known to man. These bizaare creatures are dominated by an overwhelming urge to obsessively collect, usually along a very specific theme. They do not collect them for any real purpose, they simply seem to derive pleasure from the act of collecting them, and from appreciating their collection. Surprisingly, despite their compulsive natural urge to collect, collectors nonetheless turn up their noses at any but the most pristine specimens of their chosen theme, and for those pristine or "mint" specimens they are willing to go to great lengths and pay inordinate sums to obtain them. Here we see this collector of NES games, having found that he has an item another collector of NES games does not, preening at the superiority of his collection, if only from this very limited perspective. As far as can be deduced, this preening again serves no purpose, but seems as compulsive as the collecting is. Truly, this is one of natures most baffling creations, for there are no others known to man that are so difficult to understand. [/Documentary voice] Couldn't resist it, sorry. Edit: Re-reading this, I think I might have gotten carried away here. If that is the case then I sincerely apologize. And if you want me to delete this, just say so. You really did! Now I have to go back to my quest of finding all my Game Boy game boxes. I know I havenīt thrown them away, I just canīt find them. I suspect they are still in my parentsī house. Somewhere... QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Dec 6 2013, 06:32 PM) Mirocu, you have a problem, lol

Heh, those things seem to stick around. I'm pretty sure I've still got some of the boxes for my old Gamboy games, even though I got rid of the Gameboy over a decade ago. Whether or not they can be found, though, is another matter entirely. There seems to be a special pocket dimension for things you put aside for later to slip in and out of whenever you're looking for them.

Indeed. Hate that dimension But Iīve looked in every cupboard and every closet in my apartment and they werenīt there, nor were they in the summer house. Only Place left is my parentsī house which has many, many nooks and crannies.
