Yeah well, an average FPS doesn´t last that long so they had to go with 4 hours in the comic

If you're bad at FPS like me, it takes more than 4 hours

It took me 4-5 months to beat Deus Ex the first time I played it. Last (fourth) time it took me two months.

I got, installed and beat Bioshock in less than one month, and I still had plenty of time to ponder the emotional ending I got!

I usually end up playing the game for an hour, and putting it down for a few months lol

Because you suck at it or lose interest?

Both. I rage quit then lose interest and get sucked up in another game

I could never do that. If I start a game I want to finish it, even with games I don´t like, like Doom 3.

I think the last FPS I played was...Gears of War, the second one.

If I lose interest, I lose interest for good lol





I SUCK at gears of war, lol

I'm okay at it. I get motion sick really easily, though, and usually have t pause a game and gather my bearings for a few minutes. My husband will get angry with me because I'll be playing a game, then stop playing to get on the computer or mess with my phone, or just lie down for a few minutes. He doesn't understand I feel SICK lol

I tend to get confused and go into slight shock if there's too much going on, lol.

Bit of a generalisation.

The last CoD I played was Modern Warfare 2. That level in the airport put me off the series for good. Apart from that I played Modern Warfare, picked 'em both up cheap preowned, and they were both good games, apart from that one level.



Ugh, I played the first Gears of War, got tired of it pretty quick. I prefer first person to third person, and they were a little over the top with the gore for me.

There's some good FPS out there. Bioshock for SURE. Awesome plot, awesome gameplay, super creepy vibes. That game rules so hard.

I actually enjoyed Rage, but it was too short, and too wannabe Borderlands. Borderlands was fun, but plot was pretty bad. Actually, I think I have a hard time remembering what happened in which game, now that I think about it. CoD can be fun in a mindless, 'get online and shoot things' way.

Anyway, off to work feeling sick 'cause nobody would take my shift!

It is hard to break an 8 year habit. Eventually he might migrate back into the general discussion but really that is all up to him. I've decided to stop bugging him and let him do his own thing. Several active members don't take part in the general discussion forums and that is their choice, although it is generally where the most activity is.

Yeah last night I was playing Borderlands 2 (got it on sale on XBL for like $8) and I found myself looking around for the minigames in Rage to play for a couple of minutes. I was also briefly wondering about a couple of missions before it hit me that they were from Rage.

So yeah, I agree that Rage borrowed heavily from the Borderlands style atmosphere. So much, in fact, that I couldn't remember which games had which features.
