I've just spent the last two hours trying to update a few of my 360 games, and failed miserably.

Because I don't go on xbox live much, my profile hasn't been updated in quite some time, and I forgot the password to the email account it's tied to. And there is literally nothing I can do to get around it.

Change the email on your Xbox account.


The account settings for my Xbox profile can only be changed from the Xbox menu, but because I've not connected to Xbox live since they decided it was necessary to tie it to a microsoft account all the time, the account option in settings is greyed out. I can't select it.

I've dug through the Xbox site, and there's literally nothing I can do.

Hence the shouting and the rage and everything.
