My imagination often gets the best of me.

It's currently bullying me into writing up for another character in Oblivion.

And when an idea hits me like this, I either run with it, or it runs around my head until I go nuts, and then run with it.

And it all started with one bloody line

Well, at present he's only my third, or will be once he tells me what his name is.



Creative and obsessive.

I've really got to learn to tone down one of the two.

Or just have fun!

My problem is will I progress through Arena or not...

It'd be easier to have fun if my characters weren't stepping on each others toes.

Guess the obsessiveness is a big problem though

The Arena is quite different from Morrowind and Oblivion; one can´t explore and do one´s own thing there as much. So I might just do it... Maybe...

No kidding.

I started with one line :The world is made of fire and blood.

This sums up a lot about how the character thinks, and that's all I had to start with.

Now I've written almost a page of backstory for this Dunmer, formerly a Battlemage, right from his childhood.

And there's still more turning up

This world needs more creative people anyway!

That's only part of it. At this point in his backstory he's about 14, and by the time the game starts he's going to be about 75, so there's more backstory on the way.

I should never have set foot in the fan-fiction section.
