I can't wait to download NV off steam, as I will be reviving my character Lori. I've never really had a major interest playing FO3, but that said I might check out some mods to improve my game.

BUT back to NV, I cannot WAIT to download a mod to add a player home in Primm. The only thing missing from the vanilla game! Haha

I just started a new FO3 character yesterday, his name is (get ready....) Joe King. He's an Af. American with Repair, Small Guns, and Sneak as top skills.

Thanks, I agree! I was lying in bed a few days ago running random names through my head when 'Joe King' popped up. It just sounds like a name we'd see down in Washington D.C. on some run-down (but booming) business. JOE KING'S MINI MART or JOE KING'S USED CARS.

Joe left Vault 101 and just found Megaton. Before he left, he wound up killing the Overseer, something Marge did not do, and it was interesting because Agata became quite angry with Joe at the end of the Tutorial. She was genuinely pissed at him! .. Joe had no choice though, the Overseer was coming at him with a weapon; otherwise Joe wouldn't have offed the man.

Same with me, if he hadn´t attacked me ( or even Amata; I defended you, girl! ) I would have left him alone too.

I reeeeaaally should fire up Fallout 3 again soon

Only one of my characters ever killed the Overseer. Like you said, wow, does Amata get ticked off. I mean just because you killed her father... Nevermind that he had been torturing her just moments before. If you go back to the Vault (there is a quest where this can happen), she will still be mad at you too.

I am with Mirocu, now I am feeling like firing up FO3 or maybe NV again!

We had a lot of fun last summer & fall, all three of us were playing FO3, those were good times. *nods*

I just rolled a new toon for New Vegas. Dove. She's Lonesome.

Well, it seems ole' Doc Mitchell has put Lonesome Dove's pieces back in the right parts. After helping Sunny Smiles clean out some varmits by the waterholes, she lent a hand to poor cowpoke who had some badmen after him. They were ornery cusses, had to kill 'em all. Now Dove is settin' a spell on the porch, 'afore she moseys along down to highway.

I am going with an Old West kind of angle with Dove. She's only going to use rifles, dynamite, six-shooters, etc... It seems to fit with NV.

Last night Lonesome Dove continued her adventures, getting some target practice in against a bunch of varmints in the hills south of Goodsprings. Then she headed east, and ran afoul more of the same gang of badmen that had been after that cowpoke in Goodsprings. Lots of killin' ensued. Now she is looking for a new sheriff for the town of Primm, which has just been de-badmenized thanks to her new cowboy repeater.

Stats? .. Did you buff your avatar with uber stats?

I love the Primm Sheriff quest. Picking off the Powder Gangers in the prison one by one from far away (Lori is a sniper). I'm sure Dove will have no trouble picking the prison clean... she sounds a force to be reckoned with! haha.

Still cant quite pursuade myself to get FO3, though. I have no idea why but it just doesn't appeal to me. I have played it a few times on console but I just couldn't connect to it.
