Well speaking as a Nintendo fan...

The only reason controllers have analog sticks is because of Nintendo, N64 rocks. Also the ones to thank for the vibrate function on controllers.

I'll also point out Sony's blatant attempt at copying Nintendo's motion controlled Wii with the PS3, that really was implemented late wasn't it.

Then there's the fact that the DS and it's variants trounced the PSP, and the Vita got trounced by the 3DS.

So to summarise...

Nintendo>>>>>>>>>>Sony

If the caveman that discovered fire 'copyrighted' it and sold it to all the other cavemen or even prohibited its use, we would still be in the dark ages. Different situation, similar principle..

Just to jump in on the debate

I'm not really on one side or the other, but I am of the belief that what you called 'copying' or others may label 'copyright' or 'intellectual property' or whatever else is simply the evolution of human society. If the caveman that discovered fire 'copyrighted' it and sold it to all the other cavemen or even prohibited its use, we would still be in the dark ages. Different situation, similar principle..

Also, there was this for ps2: Eye toy

The eyetoy was a gimmick, and it wasn't exactly taken seriously at the time.

That was why I had the next to it. Although I did find it fun for a few weeks
