QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 17 2014, 03:20 PM) QUOTE(ImperialSnob @ Mar 17 2014, 12:47 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 17 2014, 10:49 AM) News flash; Many young gamers today cannot finish the first level in Super Mario Bros for the NES.
Let that sink in for awhile....
But that level is really easy. Do you have some kind of source? Of course, I didnīt make this up. A youtube video about this had the info and I think itīs safe to say he didnīt make it up either. @Call - No, they donīt have a NES. They have Xbox One with the constant need to be online, where you just rent your games without never really owning them, and that requires another device (the Kinect) to even work besides the solid internet connection. What does my NES need? An electric outlet and a game I own 100%. You tell me what system is the better one You do know all of that is gone. They removed all of that DRM after the back lash. Don't live in the past mannnnnnnnnn, play some of them Dark Souls! The NES is overrated anyway, too many rose tinted goggles. This post has been edited by ImperialSnob: Mar 17 2014, 04:44 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 17 2014, 04:00 PM) Nope, havenīt even heard of it. Iīve played Time Splitters, Rainbow 6 and some Halo on Xbox though You should try it out sometime it's really amazing. Only cheap, it's really emotional. Might be my favourite game ever up with Oblivion.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 17 2014, 04:05 PM) What game would you compare it to?
No other ones. You control 2 brothers and do some puzzles(not too hard) and go through the great story, not one word of English is spoken it's all in a made up language but you can still follow the story fine. You'd need a controller if your on PC though. The way you control the 2 brothers adds alot to the story!

Point two: The PS4 never had any such restriction on it, so none of the aobive applies to it. Point three: At this point there ar more people with 360s and PS3 than both of the new consoles combined, and none of the above applies to them either. Though I think the last part, about only needing an electrical outlet and a game applies to all of them. I know I certainly own all my 360 games. But let's not turn this into a consolewar through the ages.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 17 2014, 04:09 PM) If they can have Storage Wars we can have Console Wars!! Or maybe not But I do feel about the Xbox One how you feel about Skyrim.. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't buy either of the new consoles, but they're nowhere near as draconian as you portrayed them.

QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Mar 17 2014, 04:17 PM) I do not like the Xbox one an wih we never bought it. The camera freaks me out, and needing to update the controller is a pain.
Fact: There is a technician at Mirosoft watching you and your family. Okay, probably not, but yeah, one of the reasons I wouldn't buy one. Another is just how much of the performance is sapped by the OS and Kinect. QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Mar 17 2014, 04:17 PM) My husband loves it though. But because of that stupid thing, he's started buying BluRays and its a lot of unnecessary extra money.
Ouch. Another downside to the new consoles...
