I meant when I play any NES game I´m not as dedicated as when I´m playing Oblivion, i.e I don´t take it seriously and don´t care how it goes all the time

It serves a function. By sometimes playing casually I get the energy to get serious sometimes.

All seriousness (work) and no casual (play) makes for a grumpy ´rocu...

I occasionally get in the mood for a little mindless mayhem. That's the point where I dig out Unreal Tournament 3.

But most of the time, I prefer games I really get into. Otherwise they don't hold my interest very well...

For me, in order to be able to get into a game I need casual gameplay too. Unless of course the game I get into is new to me...

For mayhem I used to play Driver with two cheats on so I could just plow through every car I found! I also used to play a couple of shooters for mayhem but one is on a puter I rarely turn on and the other I lost interest in.

Heh, I just love the chaos of a sixteen-way deathmatch on Unreal Tournament 3. Crank up the difficulty of the ai for the bots, and go nuts

It's good fun, from time to time.

I used to play a demo of Unreal, the original game I think. Pretty epic and a breathtaking cliffhanger ending...
