QUOTE(McBadgere @ May 13 2014, 08:36 PM) *

Older Brits and T.V. addicted Anglophiles around here may recognise this tune...

I'm not sure I understand. The Eagles are from the U.S. Why would "Brits" or "Anglophiles" recognize this in particular? Maybe I'm missing something here, but to me that's like saying "If you're an older American you may recognize the Beatles."

Because there's a fair chance (Though not a perfect chance, I understand) that the older Brits that have joined here would have watched the BBC's adaption of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy...Which a version of Journey of The Sorcerer was the theme to...

Like this...

It's possible that tv addicted Anglophiles from the U.S. *CoughTreydogcough*...may also have seen this at some point...

And Mirocu, the whole "Brain the size of a planet" and "Life, don't talk to me about life" I did in the Everything Thread were quotes from that...

I have always loved Green Grass And High Tides. For the last few days I have been listening to Molly Hatchet's Double Trouble Live album in my car. Their song Gator Country mentions it: "They got green grass, and they got high tides, and it sure sounds good to me." So I just had to listen to Green Grass and High Tides too.

But now I am listening to Fever Ray - If I Had A Heart

EDITIO!!...Okay, officially scared of the Fever Ray one... unsure.gif ...Although, now I've realised it reminds me of Lyndsey Buckingham, certainly in the early bit...Oh!!...Hang on, I know these!!!...*Goes to find somethings...*...

Yup...Awesome song from the Red Riding Hood movie...Pretty warming scene actually... laugh.gif ...The Wolf...

Ah, Youtube hasn't got the Fleetwood Mac song Come as a studio version, you'd see what I meant about the LB comparison, the live version doesn't quite have the same effect...

Further Edit... biggrin.gif ...Aaaaand back to normal...9 Muses - Whatever... biggrin.gif ...

Man, that was decent.

That's very unusual for In The Moment, also they're lead singer is disgustingly selfish and sexualised, while all of the other band members WEAR MASKS SO YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THEIR FACES.

It's pretty much the metalcore version of No Doubt, but with more tight latex clothing and trying really hard to be the female Marlyn Manson.

1. Don't worry, it's not that you're old it's that you have sense. Although I'm guessing McDaughter is a teen? Metalcore is very popular with teen girls tongue.gif but....Blood On The Dance Floor are very popular with tween girls. Which is very unfortunate....not just because their music is bad.

2. Yes, he is very good, I like his 20 Styles videos.

6 Foot, 7 Foot - Lil Wayne ft. Corey Gunz(WHO IS COMPLETELY EDITED OUT OF THE SONG FOR SOME REASON)

Wayne went pretty hard, good song.

Except when he rhymed Ho with Ho and Tammy with Tammy but although he stumbles, he never falls.

She really wants to be Manson.

But the things she does haven't been shocking since Anti-Christ Superstar originally came out.

Atleast people like Cannibal Corpse or Infant Annhilator are so intentionally ridiculous with their violent and sexual themes it's humorous.

Ash - Girl From Mars, one of my fav songs of all time.

Also introduce her to some of the good stuff, like Metallica(20 years ago Metallica) and Maiden, heck Judas Priest have got a new album coming biggrin.gif
