Urgh...Too hoooottttt...
 ...The Christening went quite nicely, to be honest...The church was really pretty...I liked that actually... The food was...*Shrug*...Nice enough but there wasn't much of it to go around... Then we went for a wander around the nearby mere - the reason the small town/large village is actually called Ellesmere - we went about a Km down this woodland trail (we know this because there were signs now and again telling us how far we were away from the town centre...Oh yeah!! Town centre!!)...And then, once we hit the one Kilometre mark we decided to turn around and go back to t'car...It getting through the afternoon and all... So now we're back and knackered... ...Still, muchly enjoyable day actually...Well, except for the young teen boy who did the expected..."Oh my Goooooodddd this is so boring!" and "Uuuurgh...When will we be going back to the caaaarrrr?..." Usually responded to with a sharp look or a "Shut up *McBoy..."...Y'know...Usual grumpy dad response... ...This post has been edited by McBadgere: May 18 2014, 03:55 PM |

No, not as far as I could see...The room we were in was far too small...And there were far too many kids there for the adults to get stupid really...It was nice to see, actually...McWife and McDaughter went to another, either last year or the one before...I was tied up with work so couldn't go... Anyways, there was actually a proper punch-up there...The McLadies and the Mc-In-Laws left quickly... ... |
