QUOTE(SubRosa @ Jun 1 2014, 11:44 PM) Ouch! My condolences on Lissa. Good luck with Eden. Funny, she does not look like a power mad supercomputer bent upon domination of the post-apocalyptic wasteland! Hehehe well you never know hahaha

Yeah that sounds absolutely frightening, Rihanae. Sheesus. I'm not letting anybody use my computers, except if I'm sitting right here watching. I actually wouldn't mind having to build my game from scratch (mods and all) but losing saves is horrible. I think you did the right thing, moving on from Lissa and rolling a new toon. I'd do the same. It wouldn't feel right starting somebody all over from the beginning. You have all those first-experience moments, that are impossible to capture again. So glad you rolled a new toon at least. ------------- Tirdas, 2:00 pm Morning Star 29, 4th Era 5 Lady Saga is trying to find Malada. She has been traveling with Maglir and Modryn Oreyn, both of whom remind Saga that she should join the Fighter's Guild. Right now, this trio of elves is somewhere in the Valus Mountains. We think Malada is somewhere to the south. Saga found an Ayleid ruin I'm pretty sure we've never found before called Hame. Its name is so unusual, actually I know we've never been there. The trip through the Valus has been taking days. Saga (like many adventurers) can't resist checking out new places. So it's slow going. She's run out of 'real' food, so she's constantly eating mushrooms, nectars, flowers, seeds, roots (etc.) I imagine Modryn and Maglir don't really know what to make of this. Maglir is good with magic, so he usually comes along with Saga during dungeon dives, while Modryn winds up guarding the horse. This post has been edited by Renee Gade IV: Jun 4 2014, 02:01 AM

Haha I hate calling my girls characters. It sounds so impersonal haha. I much prefer calling them my companions haha. Sounds like Saga is a risk taker with her foresty eating habits, Renee! Those mushrooms could be anything haha I don't think I'll update too much on Eden and Feena's progress here as I will be starting a fanfic following their adventures this week. The interesting thing is though that although I am playing Eden's game, it is very much both her and Feena's story, it is just Eden that I 'control'. The story will follow both of them. Saying that, although I haven't spent much time with them as studying has gotten most of my attention (I'm studying to become a probation worker/parole officer, so the studying is quite intensive haha) I have gotten to know the girls, even as far as discovering a LOT about Feena's back story and why she is the way she is. I am dying to tell you Guys, but I will save it for the fanfic.

Wow, you're gonna be an officer? That's interesting. Good luck with that. So in a way, playing Oblivion (and Fallout) must be one heck of a release from reality for you, huh? I don't consider my job to be as 'real' as what you're aiming for, but I still need to game to escape reality for awhile.
It's 11:42 am on Turdas, Morning Star 31 when Lady Saga and her dual-elf companions finally see signs of civilization. It's been days. They are currently approaching Leyawiin after nearly a week of roughing it.
A few hours before, the trio of elves came upon Black Dog Camp, which was inhabited by just one bandit. There was 5 ears of corn and one sweetroll for Saga to eat (finally some real food) but since she's vegetarian, Modryn and Maglir wound up splitting some meat stored in one of the bandit's sacks. I imagine they were REALLY glad to finally have some sustenance, and are ecstatic to be approaching Leyawiin.

Tirdas, 3:47 pm Evenint Star 4, 3rd Era 433 Kahreem just arrived in Pell's Gate wearing a Bravil Guard's outfit, that is legally his; he did not steal it. When he was in Bravil I got the sense he wanted to break into the castle's guard barracks and steal some armor. What a great disguise for him! But I also got the sense that he wants to get to Skingrad, he's had it with Bravil. Anyways, he leaves Bravil, steals a horse in plain sight, resists arrest, so the guy standing guard gives chase. Several hundred feet north, a troll shows up, and starts chasing Kahreem. He's never seen one of these before. He noticed the troll was keeping up with his horse, there'd be no way to avoid it, so he came up with a plan to turn around, and then start circling the guard. Sure enough, his plan worked. The troll began attacking the guard instead of the Redguard. He found a boulder he could safely jump his horse upon, and this meant the guard was now getting pummeled by the troll. These guards in the vanilla game...they're all about capturing the thief, they have no idea how to defend themselves. So the guard gets killed within 30 seconds, and now Kahreem decides to start attacking the troll. Problem is, he's not that good with combat. He's been carrying one of those pirate swords instead of his usual Sewer Club, and his skill with Blade is only 16, his skill with Block is only 19. Probably both of these skills would be higher if he didn't lose stats after staying in jail. Anyways, he attacks the troll, but this is a losing battle. He has no idea they regenerate health. He could have ridden away at that moment but he REALLY wanted that guard's armor. So what he does is get back on his horse, and then rides towards Anutwyl, the ruin outside of Bravil. Sure enough, there were a couple of imps there, so the troll starts attacking the imps! This allows my Redguard to ride away at full speed. Back to the dead guard, where he manages to take gauntlets, helmet, and boots. So that'll be really cool. When he makes it to Skingrad, he'll have yet another disguise to hide behind.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jun 10 2014, 04:46 AM) Heīll be an Englishman Bravil guard in New York Skingrad! YEah, I can't wait. The roleplay & story's gonna be intense! .. For two reasons (1) the questline itself, and (2) Skingrad is his old stomping grounds. The West Weald. He hasn't been there since I started his story long ago.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Jun 13 2014, 01:34 PM) Buffy has the opposite situation. Moss never grows on her mare's hoofs, as they rarely stay in one city for more than a day. And with Cyrodiil, SI, Elsweyr and, now, Skyrim in the mix, she can be a hard elf to pin down in one place.
She was hard to find even when she only had Cyrodiil to be in!
