QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 22 2014, 02:33 PM) Ah, of course I can almost sit for hours coming up with a good name for a spell or enchantment Me too, lol. Example: Maxical's "Armagedon" enchantment for a quick kill weapon. Couldn't think of other names, took me long enough to come up with that one, lol. (Grand Soul Gem) 100% Weakness to fire 100% Weakness to shock 100% Weakness to frost Fire Damage 17% Shock Damage 17% Frost Damage 15% (Tried to add a 1 second soul trap to it, wouldn't hold it). She rarely uses enchanted weapons, usually just uses the "Honor Blade of Chorrol," but like in that timed Bruma Super-sized gate where you have like 12 minutes to close it or end up redo-ing the whole battle and chance Martin dying another 50 times - yeah, for times like those she enchants a dagger and goes in naked. ** That way when her statue is made they have her holding just a dagger and only wearing peasant clothes, (because the game won't make the statue in a loincloth and bra, for some reason). QUOTE(ghastley @ Oct 23 2014, 12:14 PM) Whatever they were, they didn't stop Brenda! How in Oblivion did you do it? THAT is what I was going for exactly!!! (How did you know? ) Oh, I SO would like to borrow thar screen if I was still writing Maxical's story! There was a scene written over two years ago (that never made it to post) that called for her statue to be nude (but overly endowed because the artist - Crassius Curio from Morrowind - had been eye-balling Eyja's ample boobs while carving Maxical's flat chest! I tried everything I could to make that happen for a screenshot!!! DE !!! I have wondered where you were!!! This post has been edited by mALX: Oct 23 2014, 06:31 PM

The critical components appear to be having no wearable quest items, and stashing everything else before talking to Martin at CRT after the battle. I didn't intend the torch, but in retrospect I think it's better with one. Right after emerging from the Great Gate, and giving Martin the Great Sigil Stone, she went home to Bruma and dumped her inventory into a chest in her house. Then she went and flashed Martin, who politely pretended not to notice. She then went back to collect her gear and check the statue before returning to CRT and entering Paradise. Quest items are the usual fly in the ointment. You can't drop those, and need to use the console to remove them (or change their status so they can be dropped). Any wearable is considered better than nothing by the engine, and that goes to equipping a torch if you have no weapon - but do have a torch.

Now, I emptied out her entire inventory before going to Bruma, all but that dagger. Went naked through the Great Gate, and didn't take any items from any loot inside the gate that were wearable; went naked to Martin after the battle, and naked to Cloud Ruler Temple afterward (Jauffre is the only one who stared)! They still plunked a peasant outfit on her! (Plus the dagger, of course - but she was really carrying that). That dagger was the only thing she did carry in her inventory other than that sigil stone. I don't get it, but the idea of going through that battle (50 times over again to keep Martin alive) is not enticing. Still, knowing you were able to has me curious to what I did wrong - was it the dagger? IDK.

For an NPC, there can be items equipped that don't show when you open their inventory, because they're marked "not playable", but do show on the corpse. That doesn't happen for the player character, because you've got no way to pick them up. However, it may be possible to add non-playable items to the player through the console. They still won't show in inventory, because of the flag.
Since the statue is an NPC that's a clone of the player, those non-playable items could then appear.

That makes sense, and is probably what happened - but how did it not happen in your game? I missed a step somewhere. How do we make sure that particular NPC doesn't have a death inventory item? Oh, does anyone here know how to fix this Steam issue - can't get my Skyrim Creation Kit open suddenly, for 24 hours it keeps saying it is opening but never does - then when you go to close out Steam it says that the CK is open, to close it before Steam can exit - but the CK is not open, I have gone to the task manager and looked - it is NOT active at all. It also won't let me verify the game cache until I close out the CK - which isn't open. I have a back up install of it on my hard drive, but it is doing the same thing. It worked perfectly fine till yesterday, then suddenly - this. This happened one time before, (that's when I made that back up) - and when I right clicked on it and ran it as administrator it worked. This time that is not working. Really ticks me off that Bethesda went through Steam, and I can't play the FREE tool kit for the game I paid for a full 24 hours because Steam is causing issues. Really burns my hide against Bethesda.
