QUOTE(hazmick @ May 4 2015, 09:11 AM) *

in direct contrast to the freezing rain yesterday it's warm and sunny here today.

Took the opportunity to go for a walk in the woods. Took some photos, climbed some trees, made friends with a ladybird. Standard springtime adventure stuff.

We had that perfect day yesterday; it must have visited you next! I love those kind of days; love being able to open up the house and air it after the stuffiness of winter. You going to post some of those photos? I'd love to see them!

Somehow the idea of an electric helicopter feels more dangerous/risky than the standard helicopter, but I can't pinpoint why - just would scare me worse if I was riding in it, lol.

Well, it doesn´t really matter if you run out of gas or battery juice. The end result is still the same laugh.gif

I've been shooting helicopters out of the sky with a huge BOOM in Fallout 3 - waiting at their drop-off points and surprising them as they unload troops, lol. Love doing that!

That is why I love it when the Enclave starts spawning big time. Makes the whole game feel fresh again.

You can get all sorts of loot from there. Food, household items, gardening stuff, electronics, pet supplies, arts and craft stuff, festive decorations at various times of the year, and random junk. When I visited America a few years ago I saw a similar place, but I can't remember what it was called.

There isn't a Poundland anywhere near me though so I never really go, but I usually buy glue and stuff for my Warhammer models from there since my nearest Poundland is near my nearest Games Workshop. biggrin.gif

Probably Dollar Store or Dollar Tree or something.. Think I saw it in the youtube comments.

Did you ever try to be one of the wise guys and ask "How much is this?" tongue.gif laugh.gif

The temptation is always there, but I can't imagine the Poundland staff would find it very amusing. tongue.gif

There's another good shop which I frequent when I'm at university down in Leeds. It's called the pound bakery, and it's basically the same but with baked goods like cakes and bread and stuff. You can get a (very very delicious) chicken pasty for 80p, or 2 for £1. laugh.gif

Urgh, had to go to the doctor's today, for an asthma checkup. Was there for all of five minutes, and that was it. Nice to be done with it so quickly, but it's kind of annoying to have had to go down there just to answer a few questions and that was it.

But, quick as it was, it was still long enough for the weather to change. A gentle breeze had become massive gusts of wind, and the clouds had moved from threatening rain to delivering it. sad.gif

Yes, it sure does.

Asian Misa is at level 30 now, and I haven't done past Raven Rock on the main quest or the Broken Steel - and in this game have not done the Point Lookout or The Pitt - held off doing them because last time I did I lost a bunch of Perks when the DLC ended.

On that note, I did get to see Asian Daddy James for the first time, he looks mysteriously similar to Caucasion Daddy James, lol. Oh well.

Yes, you could have answered the questions over the phone but then the doctor couldn't charge for the visit. Technically, in order to avoid malpractice suits, they have to see you in their office at regular intervals if they are prescribing you any medication for the asthma - cover their butts. But they still should at least examine you while they have you in there, not just ask questions.
