QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 5 2015, 03:44 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 4 2015, 10:19 PM) QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 4 2015, 04:01 PM) Speaking of places to sleep, Ally actually never slept in the Homestead Motel, mostly because of The Blanket mod which allows you to sleep anywhere and most of the time she crashed at Haley's place. I need one of those! Is that the same mod as the mat/backpack? Here it is. Enjoy. Point Lookout Police Department featuring its prime and only officerMain purposes of the PL PD are: Keeping you safe from 'lurksEliminating dangerous inbredsInvestigating strange plantsKeeping an eye on the local tribeEstablishing contact with transcendent beingsCooperating with pre-war secret agentsDemonstrating that animals can be friends (thanks to the Animal Friend perk ) It's a risky work, though. Even the most brave officers of the PL PD (in fact its only officer) can't save manors from exploding. HaHa!! Officer Ally!!! These are great I love seeing her performing her duties! I never thought about the animal friends perk helping me enter the inn without being molested by vicious dogs! Great update, and a fun intro to them!

Never a dull moment for Officer Gator. 'Quite a view' indeed. . . I see what you did there. Desmond looks killable just for his looks. Hunting robots – some disassembly required. And relaxing with a ciggie after a hard day on the beat.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 7 2015, 02:18 PM) On the Old Olney shot - if you climb up to the top ledge of broken floors and work your way around you will find an easter egg with the teddy bear and gnome! I think it is in the SW corner as you enter the building, but ... not sure which direction the building is facing, so could be wrong. The Tesla coil! The first time I saw it I was scared of getting eviscerated by it, lol. Wait, is she drinking a beer or is that opera glasses? Did you give Tanya that armor? How do you do that? She is so pretty, I'd love to be able to tap/nab that face in the char gen! GAAAH, isn't this ant queen in New Vegas Boomer maintenance room? Where is this? Agatha !!! I love the pose with the bottle! Can I ask you - on that mod, do you write down the codes for the poses you like best and keep the list nearby so you can use them in game? I have downloaded the mod with the playbook, but couldn't find any instructions on how to use the poses other than using console commands. Great update, I had forgotten a lot about Broken Steel till seeing your screens! I need to go ahead and finish a game again, have not finished one out since I've been on the PC game; keep restarting new games.

Ouch, Old Olney, that's a dangerous place. I assume that the building in the first pic is accessible with the Broken Steel, I only vaguely remember these quests. Tesla Coil looks like an oversized tin can. In the lair of the AA is my favorite shot from this set. Tanya looks much better in your game than in the vanilla version, for a second I thought that she's now Hecate's companion. Agatha's music is always a good choice. Especially with a mod that adds more songs to her radio station. QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 7 2015, 05:32 PM) Desmond looks killable just for his looks. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 7 2015, 05:45 PM) Ally is really laying down the law in these pics. Criminals, ghouls, and brains beware! High time that some law was brought to Point Lookout. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 7 2015, 06:45 PM) Desmond dies? I thought he was essential till you get to Donovan's Calvert's brain! How do you complete the quest without him? Is it quest failed?
As soon as Desmond died, the objective changed to "Talk to the Professor". Ally never got a chance to talk to him, though, because as soon as she placed some plasma mines close to his non-yet-active Protectrons, they exploded and Calver in the jar went hostile. By finishing the main quest in Point Lookout, I'll take a break from Ally's game for some time. Instead I'll try to roleplay a bad guy in the Capital Wasteland, which probably won't be easy because I'm not good at RP-ing baddies anymore, but let's hope for the best (or the worst). Deeno (the coming character) will be motivated by caps instead of being just plain evil, this should make it more interesting than to RP an evil madman.

I've always had trouble RP'ing an evil character; so to get those achievements I used Bubba RP'ing a mercenary too - couldn't make myself murder innocents; but stealing from owned containers does the trick, lol. I also didn't like having the people I normally work with hunting my character and trying to get my finger (Regulators) - that bothered me worse than the stealing itself did, lol. So wait, when the brain went hostile, did it fail the quest or end it properly? I don't remember ever talking to Calvert before going in the bunker with Desmond because I thought you couldn't get in there till the house blew up. I'm completely lost about what happened there, but find it very cool to see a different ending to that quest than the way I've always seen it, lol. Really enjoyed that !!! That first pic inside the huge building is one of the new areas in Old Olney added by Broken Steel. It is one of the neatest looking places in the game. I just love how many floors it has, and how the center of the building has all fallen in.
Hecate now has 31 Deathclaw Hands in her inventory. They were not all from Old Olney though. She has racked up quite a few from Enclave outposts.
I have never been able to play an evil character either. The nearest I get is probably Persephone, who can be ruthless and short-tempered at times. Like the first she walked into Riften, and Maul made the mistake of saying "You'd better walk away," when she tried to ignore him. Almost half the Thieves Guild died in the confrontation that followed.
mALX, you can use the OpenTeamMateContainer 1 command to look in any character's inventory, and give or take things from them. I use it all the time to arm the Wastelanders I come across, especially those Super Mutant captives I release. I give them miniguns and assault rifles, and armor if I can.

I did not know about that command, thank you so much! You had me rolling about your thieves guild rampage,

Some screens to say "Thanks Subrosa!!!!" http://imgur.com/a/HexhMI had to use the desk (from another mod) as a container because I didn't have any open FO3 files and the container the items were in was pointed to a file I didn't have - probably because my game is set up in C:/Games/Steam/etc. instead of the regular place. The container was pointing to Meshes/Clutter/Junk; and the only thing I had in there was Prewar money. The only item that did not show up was the Blue Scientist, when I put it on my body disappeared; but that is very likely a conflict with my body mod. Everything else is AWESOME !!! I am wearing the red rasberry beret and love the extra crit it adds!!! Thank you so very much SubRosa !!!!!!!!!!! This post has been edited by mALX: Aug 8 2015, 06:57 AM

So good to see New Vegas gear on the East Coast, I'll also use this mod in the future. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 12:04 AM) So wait, when the brain went hostile, did it fail the quest or end it properly? I don't remember ever talking to Calvert before going in the bunker with Desmond because I thought you couldn't get in there till the house blew up. Once the first plasma mine exploded and Calvert ordered Protectrons to attack Ally, the objective "Talk to the Professor" changed to "Kill the Professor" and when he was dead, the quest completed normally. Afterwards it was upon Ally to reward herself, normally Desmond gives you the key which unlocks the room with rewards but this time she unlocked it by herself. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 12:04 AM) I've always had trouble RP'ing an evil character; so to get those achievements I used Bubba RP'ing a mercenary too - couldn't make myself murder innocents; but stealing from owned containers does the trick, lol. Deeno already killed one innocent; a nameless scavenger living in a ruined house southeast of Little Lamplight. He's a natural born sniper and picking off targets from the distance while being unnoticed seems to be his favorite hobby. Almost half the Thieves Guild died in the confrontation that followed. Aren't most of the TG protected/essential or did you make them killable beforehand? --- Yesterday at night I created Deeno, the evil mercenary. I created two unique weapons for him, namely Deeno's Sniper Rifle and Deeno's Silenced 10mm Pistol, both are more durable and deal more damage than their regular counterparts but they're heavier. His armor of choice is Road Rascal Leather Armor which was cut from the vanilla game, it looks the same as standard leather armor but gives a boost to Endurance and Agility. Here is Deeno's ID, written in the same way as characters on the Fallout Wiki are represented. Deeno arrives to the Capital WastelandLocated directly on the western border, the closest location straight east is Little Lamplight. Sniper at workMost of the time he aims at their heads, fortunately muties have big heads. He's handy with a gun tooIt's not visible in this pic, but his pistol looks like this, not like the standard 10mm pistol. Safety measuresDeeno placed a mine to the "entrance" of the abandoned house in case anyone'd try to sneak up on him while sleeping.
