QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 01:51 AM) Some screens to say "Thanks Subrosa!!!!" http://imgur.com/a/HexhMI had to use the desk (from another mod) as a container because I didn't have any open FO3 files and the container the items were in was pointed to a file I didn't have - probably because my game is set up in C:/Games/Steam/etc. instead of the regular place. The container was pointing to Meshes/Clutter/Junk; and the only thing I had in there was Prewar money. The only item that did not show up was the Blue Scientist, when I put it on my body disappeared; but that is very likely a conflict with my body mod. Everything else is AWESOME !!! I am wearing the red rasberry beret and love the extra crit it adds!!! Thank you so very much SubRosa !!!!!!!!!!! Is that Fallout Misa? I love her red hair! She looks really good in the Cass Outfit in the second pic. I figured out what was wrong with the sunset sasparilla crate, and hopefully fixed that. Same with the blue scientist suit. I just uploaded a new version of Vegas Gear here, so download it and try it out. QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 8 2015, 05:22 AM) So good to see New Vegas gear on the East Coast, I'll also use this mod in the future. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 12:04 AM) So wait, when the brain went hostile, did it fail the quest or end it properly? I don't remember ever talking to Calvert before going in the bunker with Desmond because I thought you couldn't get in there till the house blew up. Once the first plasma mine exploded and Calvert ordered Protectrons to attack Ally, the objective "Talk to the Professor" changed to "Kill the Professor" and when he was dead, the quest completed normally. Afterwards it was upon Ally to reward herself, normally Desmond gives you the key which unlocks the room with rewards but this time she unlocked it by herself. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 12:04 AM) I've always had trouble RP'ing an evil character; so to get those achievements I used Bubba RP'ing a mercenary too - couldn't make myself murder innocents; but stealing from owned containers does the trick, lol. Deeno already killed one innocent; a nameless scavenger living in a ruined house southeast of Little Lamplight. He's a natural born sniper and picking off targets from the distance while being unnoticed seems to be his favorite hobby. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 8 2015, 01:16 AM) I have never been able to play an evil character either. The nearest I get is probably Persephone, who can be ruthless and short-tempered at times. Like the first she walked into Riften, and Maul made the mistake of saying "You'd better walk away," when she tried to ignore him. Almost half the Thieves Guild died in the confrontation that followed. Aren't most of the TG protected/essential or did you make them killable beforehand? --- Yesterday at night I created Deeno, the evil mercenary. I created two unique weapons for him, namely Deeno's Sniper Rifle and Deeno's Silenced 10mm Pistol, both are more durable and deal more damage than their regular counterparts but they're heavier. His armor of choice is Road Rascal Leather Armor which was cut from the vanilla game, it looks the same as standard leather armor but gives a boost to Endurance and Agility. Here is Deeno's ID, written in the same way as characters on the Fallout Wiki are represented. Deeno arrives to the Capital WastelandLocated directly on the western border, the closest location straight east is Little Lamplight. Sniper at workMost of the time he aims at their heads, fortunately muties have big heads. He's handy with a gun tooIt's not visible in this pic, but his pistol looks like this, not like the standard 10mm pistol. Safety measuresDeeno placed a mine to the "entrance" of the abandoned house in case anyone'd try to sneak up on him while sleeping. I made a mod a long time ago that removes the essential status of the members of the FG and TG, so I can kill them. I am expecting Deeno to be a dark haired singer. Wouldn't that be a kick in the head? Is that the south west corner of the map that Deeno arrived in? It looks like where the Rockland Car Tunnel is with Broken Steel installed. I guess not, due west of Lamplight it is then, and Deeno is already killin' muties and molies. Thank you for explaining how those quest changes worked on the fly that way, that is awesome! I am seriously considering trying that out just to do something different next time. How did you get to see Calvert before the explosion though? Is it when you are planting that signal jammer on the ferris wheel and he speaks to you or did you actually get to enter the bunker early? Anyway, it sounds like a more exciting way to play it, for sure! Oh, really nice the way you put a rap sheet up on him! That scavenger is in the abandoned house small subdivision below the Jury St. Metro, urk! I like that one, lol. (at least they've always been nice to my character). Well they respawn there. Will Deeno be knocking off those traveling merchants to get the keys to the packs on those cows? His gun looks wicked with that silencer on it! Great shots!!! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 8 2015, 11:57 AM) Oh, a Sasparilla crate! I would love to see that! Downloaded, thank you so much for these! As you can see, I had a blast trying on all the clothes, lol. That is Misa, and even if she looks deadpan in the face she enjoyed it too. She absolutely loves hats for some reason; and that mod is full of them! The construction hat and Pilot hat - I don't think I've ever seen them before, but they look Awesome on her, and I can see them becoming her favorite hats to hang out in, but on maneuvers she is wearing the recon rasberry beret now. When I got all done trying on and taking screens of almost all the clothing on her, I realized I should have put a weapon in her hands for the shots and captured them as well; doh! There were already a ton of screens, so I figured in her gameplay shots in the future the weapons will be coming out - especially the melee ones, they sounded wicked! BOLD ABOVE = Maybe sipping a martini and singing "That's Amore" too? I thought of DM too until I saw the screenshot of him, lol. (if I'm right on who you were thinking of) Oh, it is those tunnels from the Capital bldg! I had forgotten all about them till my last Fallout game when I stumbled on them and thought I'd found something I'd been missing - then recognized it and remembered it from doing Broken Steel a long time ago. Yep, most def a great caption shot!!! But I absolutely did not remember that Adams Air Force Base till you referenced it, and I looked it up to see who you were blowing up there, lol. I did recognize it when I saw the deathclaw shot though, remember finding a ton of flamer fuel there and a big hanger or air craft carrier (or something of that sort) that you have to clear - and actually had some alien power cells in it - and one dorm room full of Enclave that I tried to kill in one shot using the Experimental MIRV - ended up blowing myself up 15 times before giving up, lol. OMG, does Hecate have some device that turns the modified deathclaws to her side? Oh, you have a shot of it! That is it = The Enclave Mobile Base Crawler; that is what I'm talking about! I really need to play that DLC again! Oh, this is so cool; she got the deathclaw inside the crawler? How did she do it? That is AWESOME !!! Oh, that is amazing !!! And that is probably one of the dorm rooms I was talking about trying to blow up with the MIRV, lol. What a relief the Brotherhood finally made it, dear gods what took them so long? Weren't they ahead of you in the tunnel? Er...I'm thinking of that Rockland Car Tunnel, oops! What an amazing shot inside the vertibird! D'aw, Sarah and Hecate look like counterparts in the coming home shot! These are all great shots, I love seeing this DLC again and being reminded of all I'd forgotten about it! Awesome Update!!! Gee, Ally is nothing compared to Hecate, she got an assignment to protect some dirty swamp while Hecate is in the White House! Lol @ the hanging skeleton, what the heck was he doing up there. IIRC, blowing up vertibirds creates a massive explosion that can easily kill you if you're too close. Hecate & Deathclaw - lovely couple but the worst possible nightmare for the Enclave. Revenge is a strike best served from the air. A fitting conclusion for Hecate's battle against the Enclave. So what's next for the girl in black? I got used to her Power Armor, it doesn't "bother" me as PA usually do. Like for instance I think it doesn't fit Sarah at all but Hecate looks good in it. QUOTE(Renee @ Aug 8 2015, 03:22 PM) Yah, Deeno is quite the lady killer. So says my GF too. Not sure if I'll allow her to see him again. QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 8 2015, 04:59 PM) Lopov - Nice to know Buffy's not the only one to place out a trap/rune/mine to give warning before going to bed. Too bad that nothing interrupts your sleep in Bethesda games unless using mods. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 8 2015, 05:57 PM) I am expecting Deeno to be a dark haired singer. I guess not, due west of Lamplight it is then, and Deeno is already killin' muties and molies. I wanted to name him Dino at first, it's an Italian name, pronounced as Deeno. But naming him Dino and pronouncing it in English would remind me of dinosaurs too much, that's why he ended up as Deeno. He started straight west of the LL. I used the CoC command to teleport him to the LL, then used tai and tcl to get him far to the west without being attacked. QUOTE(mALX @ Aug 8 2015, 07:16 PM) How did you get to see Calvert before the explosion though? You see Calvert twice during the MQ, first you encounter him as a holographic projection in the cave north of the Cathedral. When you later report to Desmond, he orders you to place the cogwave jammer atop the ferris wheel but when you get there, Calvert speaks to you over the distance and orders you to destroy the jammer instead, which is what Ally did. Then he instructs you to return to the mansion and says that he has something to show, which is of course the explosion. Then you encounter him for the 2nd and final time in the underground lab beneath the lighthouseThat scavenger is in the abandoned house small subdivision below the Jury St. Metro, urk! I like that one, lol. (at least they've always been nice to my character). Well they respawn there. Good to know. More stuff for Deeno to practice his shooting. Will Deeno be knocking off those traveling merchants to get the keys to the packs on those cows? He'll probably leave them alone since he'll need ammo occasionally and some of them are good mechanics as well. Besides, traveling merchants are marked as essential in my game else they get killed too quick.

Stalkers will wake you out of a sleep or wait (both); and one time in Fallout 3 I cleared a Raider camp in a subway station mezzanine and had to sleep for an hour to heal up - was jerked awake by a Raider attacking me before the hour was up (and still needed healing). * Oh, that is where I have always turned the other way, I didn't know who to trust so always put the jammer on the ferris wheel. Next time I play it through I'm going to do it your way instead, that sounds fun - and a break from the samo!

Wow! Looks like Hecate got a gig with either the Secret Service or the Capital Police. Caption? Sure: How many skeletons does it take to screw in a light bulb? Aww, they wimped out on not using the name Andrews AFB. Hecate and Darryl’s brother Darryl Deathclaw! Flying beats walking, that’s for sure. Aww, Paladins walking off into the sunset.

Lopov: Hecate's beat is nothing to brag about. The White House is nothing but a hole in the ground after all! There are occasional sparks that come off the ceiling where the skeleton is. So whoever it was, he electrocuted himself, either by accident or by suicide. I missed the sparks because I wanted to get the robot into the pic, and had to take the shot before it moved past. I think it is time for the Lady In Black to retire to the good life of a knight. After the events of Broken Steel, scavving the wasteland feels rather underwhelming. mALX: Those tunnels are the Presidential Metro. One links up to the capitol, but the door requires a key, and I could never find one. You can get to them from the utility tunnel underneath the White House. The one with the guy who tried to jump his motorcycle and got stuck in the ceiling. Hecate has a Deathclaw Control Scrambler that she got from the Brotherhood. You get it in the Broken Steel questline, I think it was after returning from Rockland, and before heading out to Old Olney. You have to ask one of the scribes for it. It makes all the Deathclaws controlled by the Enclave (the ones with the funky headband thing) friendly to you, and follow you around. The wild Deathclaws are still hostile. That is why Hecate is using the Stealth Boy and sneaking in that one pic with the Deathclaw without the control headset. Hecate didn't get the Deathclaw to follow her inside the crawler. She found another one inside. I just love turning Deathclaws against the Enclave. Acadian: I guess you are going to win the caption if I ever use that pic! I am not sure why they changed the name of Andrews. Raven Rock is a real place, and they didn't change the name for it. Though they did change a few other places names. The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum was changed to the Museum of Technology for example. Oh wow! It really does look like Purse Phone is rising from the grave! Teeming up with Sunny to get lai. . . oh, um. . . reading too fast. Oh yes, the lay of the land. Doublecrossing a dead girl with a big sword. . . I bet I know what’s coming. I was right! Disarming ™ I see Persephone endorses the ‘bigger hammer’ solution when it comes to fixing stuff – like radios.

The last playthrough of FO3 I did earlier this year I found that door in the Capital building and was curious, so I think I used the "Unlock" on it to see what was in there. Once I got inside I recognized the tunnels from my Broken Steel playthrough; but didn't remember that door for some reason. Maybe I took the tunnel in my playthrough too, lol.
I must have missed that deathclaw scrambler the Brotherhood gives you, I don't think I ever had that. But as for turning loose any deathclaws I find and going invisible while they wreak havoc - YES! I LOVE doing that !!!
... GAAAAAAH!!! Persephone is in New Vegas!!! And actually coming from the grave instead of just hearing about it from Doc - very cool RP there!!!
Like Sunny's outfit here, did Persephone give her a new wardrobe?
Lopov did this quest too, and until he explained it to me I didn't remember it - looks like I need to do a Vegas play through, I haven't played it on the PC yet, and bought the PC game last Thanksgiving!
Easy Pete is one of my favorite characters!
OMG, you have me rolling here with Persephone's idea of how to fix the radio!! SPEW !!!!
What weapon does she have in her hand fighting the Powder Gangers? I can't see it well, but it looks like a melee totem staff!
Awesome shots!

Something tells me that Persephone’s opponent’s gonna need a bigger pilum! Searching for Primm. She certainly can’t complain about the visibility out there in the desert. Hot slots and cold beer! (I actually see signs that say that ‘round these parts). Tossing dynamite and killin’ deathclaws – plenty to do there. Tanning? Persephone? Say it’s not so. . . oh, I see. Tanning hides.

I really think Bethesda should ave put a pink dress on the Teddy Bear in the cage here though, I love the recon shot into Ft. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 11 2015, 02:12 PM) Acadian: It is so nice to actually have a game with an open grave in it to take advantage of for screenshots. I wanted to get a pic of Persephone fixing the radio, and that banging with the fist animation just struck me as so appropriate. mALX: Sunny is wearing her default leather. Persephone's sword is European Greatsword, the same weapon she used in the Capital Wasteland. I love Easy Pete, and his laconic answers. Like when you ask him about the Powder Gangers, and he just says: "Trouble." Lopov: Persephone remembers watching Gob trying to fix that radio at Moriarity's, so naturally she did the same thing with Trudy's radio! Only she had better luck. Expect to see much more disarmed bad guys in the future. Persephone gets medievalSearching for PrimmTurns out, there was not much to find in PrimmMeting out justice in the prisonThey call her Kid Dynomite!Persephone racked up her first Deathclaw in the MojavePersephone is fixin' to do a lot of tanning... Is that one of Caesar's lances she is using? I have not dared rely on one for my defense, do they work? This shot of her at the gambling machine is my favorite, I love the pose - and having someone in the next seat too makes the shot just that much better! Is it like the thrones in Skyrim where anyone sittin in them takes on the pose, or did you use the pose command thing? It must be the dog days in Vegas right now in Vegas, all the Powder Ganger men have their shirts off! Holy Cow, she got a Deathclaw with just a sword !!!! And so early in the game, how did she do it? AWESOME !!!! On a fight like that, feel free to make a vid of it, that is Awesome !!!!! Watch out, Caesar, Persephone is coming for you !!! Awesome shots!
