Deeno is stylin' in his PJs. Hugh Hefner wishes he had it so good! But Deeno probably killed him already. laugh.gif

That is some view. But then again, in the Wasteland, how much do you really want to see? wink.gif

Deeno is Mr. Big Shot now! Hobnobbing with the high class dames and everything!

WHOA we can see Megaton blow up, holy [censored]. Wow wow WOW that is freaky.

Nice zombie hunting, Persephone!

Agreed 100% !!! What I loved about this is how they thought of allowing us to do this just in case we might want to (like allowing us to blow up the Citadel in Broken Steel); and that they didn't just have Moira survive it, but turned her into a ghoul - you can't find that kind of thinking ahead just anywhere, it is what made Bethesda the best game developers back when they made this game. All the choices with all the different consequences really made their games back then; and was one of the main reasons I fell so in love with their games, lol.

New Vegas gave a lot of choices too, but kind of like in a pressure cooker; because you most def felt the difference in your choices in NV, but usually through who was shooting at your backside, lol.

I liked the choices in FO3 better, because they were geared more for fun (although they also had different factions shooting at your butt depending on your choices, just not as many different factions doing it, lol).

Nuking Megaton rewarded Deeno not just with the suite with the balcony but also with the most quality pajama and one of the nicest views of the Capital Wasteland.

The young merc was now a high roller and as such he dressed like one.

He met Susan, the local escort of Tenpenny Tower...

...and spent some time in the lounge listening to old grump like Johnny Hawthorne or slightly less grumpy Herbert "Daring" Dashwood.

Deeno also found out that he and Tenpenny share the same passion - sniping.

Ooh, the sexy pajamas! laugh.gif

I love his new look in "High Roller!" (even if that is a NV term, which makes me wonder where Deeno came from before this - maybe he was a hit man sent in from NV to wipe out Megaton!) rollinglaugh.gif

The shot with Susan is an Awesome one! She is a neeedy little thing, no?

The Obligatory smoking shot over discussions on Herb "Daring" Dashwood is my favorite, he looks like he is considering a shorter life for the man droning on and on in front of him, lol.

Fantastic shot of him watching Tenpenny too!

All Awesome shots!

Deeno’s living the high life now. Love that balcony. . . Wasteland is a good name for his view though. tongue.gif Oooh! That balcony does indeed look like a fine sniping perch!

Tenpenny is such a trip man. It's like a time warp in there.

Deeno looks ready for some miniature golf & martinis.

After some relaxing at the Tenpenny Tower, Deeno was back in action, this time to kill Roy Phillips and his ghoulified followers.

"I kill ghouls for breakfast."

"And sometimes for lunch as well."

"Feral or not, every Ghoul deserves to get shot in the head."

"If Ghouls count as a race, then I'm a racist."

"At least I don't torture them before they die."

"They don't see me coming. Most of the time."

"They said I shouldn't turn my back to Roy Phillips. So I waited for him to turn his..."

"Roy can't help you now..." *BANG*

"On this day I relax, tomorrow I'm on a new assignment."

Deeno's got his killing glasses on, this cannot be good.

He killed more zombies than on a whole season of Walking Dead!

I could never look sweet Bessie in the face and kill her, so I always just crept in with a missile launcher and blew up the whole room while they were sleeping - got all the bad Karma in one hit that way, lol. (same way I always get Smiling Jack in Evergreen Mills, can't stand to kill someone who is nice to me, so had to do it before they can get a chance to be nice, lol)

I don't know how Deeno can think of breakfast and lunch while killing ghouls, urk!

Of course my favorite is relaxing with Tenpenny after it is all over, that is an Awesome screen !!! It really looks like they are discussing Deeno's latest "favor" for Tenpenny here!

One thing I have always wondered about living in that suite (because I never have lived in it, always got the Megaton house - and even since I've learned how to access it a few playthroughs ago, I've only just used it as a stop off place) - I've always wondered whether if you kill Tenpenny while living there, would the entire tower residents become hostile to you?

And would Tenpenny's guards follow you into your suite to attack you for killing Tenpenny? (so you couldn't go home for a while)? And if so, how long before you can go home again?

And what happens if they do go hostile on you and you kill them all, do the guards respawn and keep trying to kill you?

There is a quest to kill Tenpenny, which is why I wondered that. (actually, I've never killed Tenpenny for that quest, but I've seen enough vids of Tenpenny getting blown up or shot off the balcony to know some people do; and wondered what Deeno would face if he did).

BWAAHAAA!

It could be like killing Moriarity in Megaton, where the town initially goes hostile, but if you lie low for 3 days the cell resets and everyone goes back to treating you normal.

Can you lay low in your house or will they come in to kill you in there so you have to leave town? I mean, I don't plan to kill anyone in my game, just ... curious about what happens if you live there and if they can follow you into your home to attack you for it.

The reason I wondered is because that ghoul from the "You gotta shoot 'em in the head" quest does come into your home after you, and so do those two BOS random guys that you help and they later mark you for death for some reason.

I don't know. When Hecate killed Moriarity, she left town to lie low (she went to Riverwood to stay with Ralof, he knows how to lie low... wink.gif). I think as long as you are in a different cell it should not matter though.

Bold: rollinglaugh.gif Now THAT is getting out of town! Lol. I think one time I hid out in Minefield for a few days, but can't remember what it was about, lol.

@SubRosa - Deeno is my first character that is a real bigot towards Ghouls. The fight with Roy Philips was very anti-climatic compared to other ghouls, Roy passed Deeno without even noticing him and one shot in the head was enough to put the pre-war police officer down.

@mALX - I have no idea whether guards follow you in your suite if you make them hostile. I can try it, though, then I'll reload.

There are some places where enemies won't follow you, for instance inside metros. If you start a fight with raiders outside any metro and run inside, they won't come after you, instead they'll patiently be waiting outside.

BTW, when does Crowley came after you?

@Acadian - indeed, his Tenpenny suite is sort of his home in the Wasteland. The favorite part of the suite is the balcony, of course.

Acadian: Arms reduction is a high priority for Persephone. She brings peace to the Wasteland 1 limb at a time...

What I found funny about the police hat is how her hair clips right through it. Usually your hair gets stuffed up under the hat, but Persephone's has been just going right through whatever headgear she wears. I think I have that fixed now, but I have not tested it with everything.

mALX: This is New Vegas. None of the pics are in a Vault. Most are from some utility tunnels and the sewers, and the last is from an old hotel on the Westside of Vegas.

The ghouls are really creepy in these games. I think they are much more scary than the true undead in the Elder Scrolls games.

Renee: Greatswords are perfect for zombie smiting. There is even a company that sells that which has a video on the best zombie slaying weapons! Here it is!

Lopov: Actually Persephone did find that axe, and she took it home to keep as a souvenir. But I kept thinking of the npc in Little Lamplight named Knock-Knock... laugh.gif

That was a ghoul reaver in that big pack. Thankfully Persephone's greatsword is zombie-approved. So it slays them quite handily.

That last pic is from the quest from Aerotech Park to investigate the recent disappearances. Before that pic was taken Persephone had talked to St. James and another guy outside in the street. One of them back-talked her, so she killed them both. Afterward she went into the hotel to search their rooms to find out if they had actually done anything wrong. Turns out they were slavers. So things worked out well... biggrin.gif

Campfire tales

Persephone can always find the graveyard

Welcome to Hoover Dam

The Deathclaw Promontory is now known as the Deathclaw Graveyard

Persephone thinks this would be handy for killing Deathclaws, if she can figure out how it works...

Zzzzzt!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...

Campfire tales – ‘Join me in death.’

I imagine Persephone is quite comfortable hanging out in graveyards.

Hoover Dam. Oh my. . . I read that too quickly and thought I read ‘Hooter Dam’. So when I opened it I thought for a millisecond that Persephone was lifting her top. biggrin.gif

More deathclaw huntin’!

Yikes! Persejaws coming out of the water is sobering indeed! ohmy.gif

The only one left alive to tell the tale is Persephone. But not even she's alive.

Nice to see her among her own kin behind Forlorn Hope.

She kills Deathclaws as they were bloatflies.

The howitzer could also be useful against the Legion...

She looks threatening in the last pic.

Good shotz!

Three Outcasts attack one single Enclave Eyebot

One single Deeno attacks three Outcasts

Destroyer of helmets

One for the personal archive

As promised, pics of Megaton and its surroundings - the sky turned green right at this particular point.

Moira Brown - the sole survivor

"Nothing personal."

Deputy Weld's head was still talking about the bomb being perfectly safe

Megaton ruins (that's how the location is now named on the PipBoy Map)

Sitting in Springvale

The green sky extends quite far, to the east it cleared only when reaching the Super Duper Mart, for instance. And getting too close to the ruins will get you a hefty dose of radiation.

Whoa, Moira! It actually looks like Moira too, you can still see her face-structure.

Pretty neat how that radioactive fallout sticks around for awhile, yeah, I don't think I'd want to spend too much time there!

Outcast huntin'! That's a great close up of Deeno looking down his sights.

Some sobering shots of Megaton.
