QUOTE(Renee @ Sep 18 2015, 02:20 PM) Yah, how time passes. What timescale do you use, mirocu?
Same as you; 10. It was one of those awesome sessions where nothing needed to happen; I could enjoy the game to the fullest anyway

I'm sure I'll do some more gaming with Saga this weekend for sure, Sims 3 or no Sims 3. I believe Saga was last headed toward Skingrad. And Snaat Rayag is also headed there too. And my new gal Sarah Phimm has been living there. So it'll be a Skingrad Set of Sessions no matter who gets picked next. This post has been edited by Renee: Sep 18 2015, 06:46 PM

It's been a few years since Vion was in the Imperial City for the last time but in Frost Fall of 3433 he visited the capital of Cyrodiil again, this time fortunately not accompanying his father Regulus on a trip to the Elder Council, but instead as a free man. A poster labeled Wanted caught his attention and he walked closer to see what it was about. Curious to find out more about the mysterious Gray Fox, about whom he occasionally heard from rumors, he approached a nearby guard...
"We're here to serve," said the guard and abruptly stopped his march.
"Excuse me, is this man still on loose?" asked Vion and pointed at the nearby poster.
"He's just a thief," frowned the guard. "He's supposed to be the head of the Thieves Guild. What a joke! Can you imagine a bunch of thieves trying to form a guild? The nobility hate him, but the peasants and the beggars love him, especially in the Waterfront."
"So if there's not a guild of thieves and he's just some ordinary thief, why is there a bounty on his head?"
"The Emperor is dead, and so are his heirs," said the guard, deeply saddened. "We're a Legion without a leader. The Blades were trusted with our Lord's protection... and they failed."
"I...see. But what does have to do with the Gray Fox?"
"Another day, another septim," said the guard, nodded politely and continued his march.
Vion realized that guards in the Imperial City still didn't differ much from those in his home town of Bravil. They could either be a useful resource of information if they were prepared to share them with citizens of Cyrodiil, but they could be as useless as imps if they set their mind on not revealing more about some subject.
He walked down the street and handed a coin at No-Coins Draninus, earning "a blessing of Anu" upon himself.

Decrepit's avatar will save us all! Nice little story there, sir Lopov. Welcome back. Love all the double-talk the guards gave him.

Loredas, Evening Star 22, 3rd Era 434 Snaat Rayag is in Skingrad, moseying around, looking for somebody (any women, maybe even men) he can "turn out", and send to Gweden's brothel house. I just added my first custom-made NPC to his gameworld, a Dunmer guy named Duuche Bayag. Just experimenting with this guy for the moment, seeing how AI packages and such work. Duuche is a Farmer (class) but also a Bandit (faction). Chances are, Snaaty and Duuche will become a friendly pair.... This post has been edited by Renee: Oct 11 2015, 11:10 AM

Yes, Duuche Bayag, who is apparently a friend of Undena the tomato lady. Snaat Rayag met Duuche Bayag for the first time in Undena's house, you see. Mr. Bayag is fairly lazy at the moment: he wanders around her house for a few hours, eats for a couple hours twice a day, and I'm trying to see how to make him walk to Two Sister's Lodge for yet another meal but so far that trick isn't working. But yeah, he gets munchies a lot. At least he eats though, he doesn't get in fights with his water jug. It's fun! I love messing around with the CS. At the top of the window find the word "Character" and click on it. Go down to the word "Packages" and click on it. Highlight anywhere on the window that opens up and right click; choose "New." Name your AI package something easy to find; a name that will float to the top alphabetically like AAAADeuchBagEatTwoSisters. Package type is "Eat" (whatever time and duration you want, but give him a couple hours at least (to get there and back) and make sure you don't overlap any times (leaving an hour gap between packages is a good idea, because if the new package kicks in while they are still completing the other, they might skip the new one. Location is "In Cell" SkingradTwoSistersLodge. ** Now, if that doesn't work: Drop an X Marker anywhere in the Two Sisters Lodge - name the X Marker something like AAADeuchBagFindTwoSistersRef. Make a second Package; Name it something like AAADeuchBagFindTwoSistersPkg. The Package type of this one is "Find" ; Location is that X Marker. (or if you want him to choose a certain chair you can choose which chair/name the chair/and make it a persistant reference - location would be SkingradTwoSistersLodge and pinpointing that chair (no need for X-Marker that way - I prefer to see them pick their own chair, but it is your choice). Say you want them to eat at 11 AM at the Two Sisters; you set the "Find" package for 10:00 am and have it run for one hour; then start the eat package at 11 for (say 2 hours). In the Conditions tab, set them up to Evaluate Packages (on the "Find" package only); and make that a top priority if you have any other conditions listed. (no target or function; == 1.00 And) ** Any issues with that = make the "Find" package for 3 hours, to cover him finding the place and eating. ** Now, if that STILL doesn't work: Click on these two flags for both packages: "Must Reach Location" "Must Complete" (Never ever under any circumstances click on "Continue if PC near," it screws up all their AI packages). ***** If you don't want them to go out to eat if it is raining; add this condition to both the packages: (no target) IsRaining (no function) == 0.00 And This post has been edited by mALX: Oct 11 2015, 03:39 PM

Wow. Hey thanks mALX that's beautiful. Deuche Bayag did wind up going to Two Sisters' eventually, but the odd thing is Snaat had to return to Undena's first. As soon as he entered the house, I saw a glimpse of Duuche leaving it, and sure enough he went to Two Sisters on his own. I have seen other NPCs do this in the base game, so it was just the game's instructions getting "stuck", I guess.
The "overlap" part would have stumped me in the future if I hadn't read that. I also didn't know about the X marker thingie, so I just saved that advice in my special advice folder, ha ha.
But now that I got your attention .... leveled lists for Creatures are in Object Window > Actors > Leveled Creatures, right? Because I was told that to remove animals from a specific plug-in, I need to remove them from the list they are in, not their base form under "Creatures".

Ghastley knows about leveled lists; and probably SubRosa. Me = I wouldn't dare remove a vanilla animal from the game for any reason. Changing their personality's to friendly via a mod - I don't mind that; but that is as far as I'll go. When you remove something vanilla; you have to make sure it is NEVER referenced ANYWHERE. Not just in spawn points, but it can't be referenced in any scripts; any packages; globally; any factions; etc. You are risking making your game unstable. Better to just make them friendly instead of non-existent; imho. Oh wait, is it from a mod? Not an official DLC? If it is a mod, it is not so dangerous to fool with; but Ghastley or SubRosa would still be your best choice of adviser imho. They are who I turn to over anyone else when I need advice on modding. I'm not trying to remove a vanilla animal, I'm trying to remove one added by a mod. QUOTE Oh wait, is it from a mod? Yes. I'm laughing because I've asked this question in TK's thread like 3 times now. Mod, not vanilla. QUOTE Not an official DLC? Okay hon, thanks.
