Going to da woods today with me dad to take down some big trees that stand too close to the garage. Bout time, really. They have grown way too big.

Ok, not exactly that kind of show. But it´s at a theater and it´s comical and they mix song and dance with monologues and sketches. We´ve seen them at the same place before and we´ve seen them at an outdoor theater and prior to that we´ve seen them on the tellie...

Having fun reading some bashing of the Hobbit films on Reddit. Apparently they've found a video of Peter Jackson admitting that he didn't know what he was doing and didn't have the prep time needed.

The discussion gets bonus points for bashing George Lucas and the prequels, and Abrams and his Star Trek films.

Definitely alot colder today. Need to oil up the lock on my car so I don´t have to use the button on the key to get in (again)...

My parents used to bring us to Radio City Music Hall once every year to see plays, and they had sketches too; and singing and dancing too - the Rockettes! (my Dad loved them, lol). It was always a great night of entertainment, no matter what play was going on; but the plays were spectacular.

My car that I gave my son was a Mazda - it did that in cold weather too. I used to have to run my hair dryer out on a long power cord and heat up the locks to unfreeze them,

(Don't try to defrost the ice off the glass with it though, not good idea).

The car I have now is the worst, my former one never had its locks freeze. Though that one was worse in basically all other aspects...

I was thinking about food the other day, as usual, and asked my mother to buy me some liquorice root.

Well the poor woman has spent the best part of three weeks trying to find some. There used to be an old P.O.W camp-turned-tourist-attraction just down the road that sold it, but that closed a few years ago.

Anyway, just as as I was giving up hope this afternoon there was a knock at the door - one of our neighbours with a delivery of liquorice root. Apparently the only place nearby that sells the stuff is a pharmacy in the next town over. I think I might have to look into growing my own.

Long story short, I'm now a very happy chap.

People actually eat that stuff? Oh, yeah, they´re called British...

I had a Chevy that wouldn't start if the engine was cold, but the doors never froze; but that Mazda - the doors froze up consistently in temps below 39 degrees (Fahrenheit).

Apparently in the USA, they're more likely to smoke it.

I use regular engine oil to lubricate the lock on my car. Very effective but unfortunately the oil sips out pretty quick


Am I wrong to somehow think that actually sounds nice...?
