As Einar will soon find out in Primm, it's not Powder Gangers but Powder Gangsters. The best of luck to your new character, hope he makes it through the low levels which are the most difficult to survive in the Mojave. -- With Blondie reunited with Guts I'll say goodbye to New Vegas for some time. Though I won't actively game, I decided to create a home for Blondie, something more appropriate than her motel room in Novac. I've been using an existing mod which adds an ownable house in Novac but I'll completely redecorate and refurnish that house. So far, so good - I already removed most of the mod-added stuff and furnished a few places but as I'm getting more experienced with GECK, I'll probably change some of the already created interiors. And though we're supposed to get snow in Slovenia tomorrow, I still don't feel "the call of Skyrim", so I'll return to the Capital Wasteland and continue Deeno's story. In case you forgot, Deeno is an evil selfish never-do-well, the merc responsible for the destruction of Megaton and many other misdeeds across the Capital Wasteland. A bounty has been placed on his head by the Regulators, hopefully it doesn't get to Blondie. ________________________________________________________________________________ WANTED DEENO

MASS MURDER $5000 DEAD CONSIDERED VERY ARMED AND VERY, VERY DANGEROUS. SHOULD ONLY BE PURSUED BY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS OR THOSE THAT HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE.
About: not much about this Villain of the Wastes is known. Deeno is probably not his real name but that's the last thing you should worry about. He called attention to himself after the destruction of Megaton. His whereabouts are not known, most of the time he's roaming the Wastes. Carries a special sniper rifle and two guns, one of them is a .44 Scoped Magnum. Prefers to kill from the distance. Already killed several skilled Regulators. Shouldn't be talked to, should be shot ASAS (as soon as spotted)! Submit the proof of Deeno's death, preferably his head, to Sonora Cruz at the Regulators HQ.

They always seem to have a thing against the evil types. Lol. Good luck, Snake!

Well, since green doesn't seem to work to well, I'll just stick to plain old black.
The thought occurred that since the Pipboy lacks a keyboard, Einar's log must have been recorded, allowing for some shenanigans.
<12.3 seconds of sounds approximating a coughing fit, followed by one approximating that of an adult spitting>
<expletive deleted>, that doesn't look good.
Going to Primm was a mistake. The place had been overrun by the Powder Gangers. The survivors were holed up in a casino, waiting for someone to save them. Personally, Id think people in a casino would be more inclined to take chances, but apparently not in Primm. The NCR had a camp set up just across the road from Primm, and were content to sit and watch. The guy in charge, some Lieutenant, says they don't have the supplies to do anything.
He's a coward.
But, there was no choice but to play the hand I was dealt. The Powder Gangers had captured the one guy who had the information I needed, so I had to go and kill them. The odds were against me, but if you're going to have a shootout in a casino, you might as well bet everything and just keep letting it ride. I've been shot, stabbed, slashed, and even burned to the point where it's only stimpaks that are letting me record this. I don't even know how many there were, it got kind of blurry after the fifth guy and the eighth wound.
Anyway, they're dead, I'm just about not, so while I didn't hit the jackpot, at least I came out ahead. At least their guns were worth something, and the ammo'll sell for a good price too, sooner or later. As it turned out, I'd been in Primm not too long ago. The Mojave Express has an office there, and that's where I signed on for the delivery job. I found out some more information about it.
It was Victor, as far as I can tell. Or at least, it was Victor that placed the order. Since I know someone else is running his circuits, he's hardly to blame. There were six of us, each transporting some odd little knick-knack. Whoever hired us for the delivery was playing find the lady, and it looks like I was the one hiding the queen. Makes me want to know just what exactly I was carrying, and why people wanted it so badly. MAybe I'll find out sooner or later.
But for now, I'm just gonna dose myself up on stimpaks and sleep until I stop bleeding one way or another.
Signing off.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Nov 21 2015, 07:39 PM) Einar is playing the hand he was dealt. I like the choice of words there, and through the rest of it. It sounds like Einar is a rambling, gambling man. Yeah, this is what I like too. I like the uncertainty with Einar's situation. He doesn't seem to know who to trust yet, if anybody. Lopov: Sweet wanted poster! That almost looks real

QUOTE(Lopov @ Nov 22 2015, 05:16 PM) Deeno obtained the last special key, wanted by Mr. Crowley. Though Jeff Strayer was already deceased, his son Ted had the required key. And as soon as the boy handed the key to Deeno and turned his back around, "Snake Eyes" shot him in the back. While staying in Rivet City, Deeno also tracked down the missing android. He effectively carried out a malicious plan - first he convinced Harkness that he'll help him against Zimmer so Harkness gave him his expensive rifle to deal with Zimmer. Then Deeno turned Harkness in to Zimmer but as Zimmer was leading Harkness out of the Rivet City, he ambushed them at the stairwell, killed Zimmer, his bodyguard Armitage and lastly Harkness. Then he took Harkness' security uniform and a key of the Rivet City Armory. So now "Snake Eyes" has a new outfit and an expensive rifle which he'll gladly sell for lots of caps. OMG, I have never made it to rob the RC armory! I've gotten inside, but never survived long enough to get out of there with anything worthwhile! I want to hear every detail of that mission! (please?) For some reason I can't explain, I had at one point stopped doing the Chryslus building. Well, I did it yesterday and was stunned at the amount of loot in that place! l Unfortunately, the reason I stopped doing it became clear soon enough. That place is never ending! I was praying to find an end to it long before I did, and when I finally got out I had to exit the game and give myself a break, But boy is there a ton of loot in there! So I have about 5 misc and side quests left to do before there will be nothing more to do but the main questlline. (Actually, there are a few more than that, but I think I wasn't wanting to do a couple of them. But when they are done, I have the choice of furthering the main questline or doing some DLC; not really sure which I'll do. I sure do love it when the Enclave starts swarming everywhere; but ... hate the Dr. Li and Daddy stuff. (which is why I've been dragging my feet on that). Deeno has shot another person in the back. Ha! You would think that a man without serpent eyes would give a person a reason to pause. Too many trusting people in this world. Lol. That is the one thing that Fallout 3 does better than 4. I love the huge interior cells and those epic long battles with Muties and Sentry Bots. In the same way I also enjoy Oblivion more than Skyrim interior cells. It is like Beth is giving us more content these days but less detail.

QUOTE(mALX @ Nov 23 2015, 09:23 AM) Once you get inside the Statesman, you can't escape without togging clipping and floating up above the bed you first enter at; or doing Reilly's quest.
Ooh, so thatīs why I couldnīt find my way out! Blimey! QUOTE(mALX @ Nov 23 2015, 09:23 AM) I have also wanted to get out of there, it gets claustrophobic after a while.
You tell me I had to go back to an earlier save and losing out on the Super Mutant loot because I felt so trapped, but if itīs like you say I had no other choice anyway.
