QUOTE(mALX @ Nov 24 2015, 03:26 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 24 2015, 02:35 AM) No gun buying today. Woke up early with a tummy ache that hasnīt gone away. Bugger.. Oh no, I hope you are okay! It was the food at that show you went to! Urk. You know, it did cross my mind But no one else got ill and we all ate the same stuff. Anyway, right after this gun buying post I had to go lay on the sofa and thatīs where Iīve been all day. Though mostly because of headache, my tummy got a little better but it was the head that dropped me Better now obviously and if Iīm even better tomorrow I think we can go look for guns. Fortunately my dad can drive if Iīm still a little tired. Just wanna get the ball rolling regarding the license...

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 24 2015, 11:38 AM) From what I have heard, Earth wasnīt originally tipped on its axis like it is today. Some ancient African legends talk about how the moon actually arrived here, it hasnīt been here from the start as mainstream science suggests. Think of it like the Death Star (which it btw very much looks like, eh..?) and that was the event that pushed Earth into its current position. Thanks for the page, mALX Aw, I hope you get feeling better. The guy that wrote the article was too busy defending himself to do the statistics justice; but he links to Nasa documentation are all good ones. Just wish he had stuck to the facts and not spouted conspiracy theories, lol. But I remember my Science teacher in junior high school warning about the catastrophic changes we could expect by even a minute change of the earth's tilt on its axis; and by the stats it is actually proving to be true. The weather changes are tangible, even in TN. This post has been edited by mALX: Nov 24 2015, 06:14 PM

QUOTE(mALX @ Nov 24 2015, 11:16 AM) What's going on in your world? http://www.divulgence.net/None of that's happening to Nirn, so it doesn't affect my mods. Actually none of that's happening quite the way that site thinks, either. The Pole Star's still where I expect it to be, so the axis isn't moving any more than normal nutation predicts. There's a huge amount of confusion between cause and effect there, too. This post has been edited by ghastley: Nov 24 2015, 07:42 PM

I thought the same thing. Seems like the events would have caused the earth's shift; not the shift causing the events. QUOTE(Lopov @ Nov 24 2015, 01:43 PM) I had a night shift yesterday / today, working at the Slovenian-Austrian border crossing in the refugee border camp. That was one of the best night shifts in the past years, the last train with refugees arrived around 11 PM and we checked those that needed help until 1 AM. Then I went to sleep and wasn't waken up even once until 7 AM when my shift ended. That was easily earned money and today I have a free day which we automatically get after a night shift. What's better than sleeping at work (it's allowed of course), getting better paid (night pays 150% better than day) and wake up refreshed to a free day! WOO HOO, Lopov! I need to switch luck with you! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Nov 24 2015, 01:27 PM) The moon is the leftovers from another planetary body that collided with the Earth in the early days of the universe. It was roughly a quarter the mass of the earth, and if it had been any larger its impact would have completely destroyed both it and the Earth. Instead it was annihilated, and the Earth barely held together. The Earth sucked up some of the leftover debris into itself, and what was left formed into today's Moon.
Wow, now that is something I didn't know! (Yes, I did take the class in high school; but it was mostly to be out at night in the dark on the roof of the conservatory making out with my boyfriend),

Woah. My fingers are kind of tingling right now. I just wrote 1,249 words in 30 minutes, putting me at a little over 6,000 words written today.

Gibberish is a perfectly cromulent language. Many people under the age of one speak it fluently. However, I'm informed that Gibberish is the spoken form, and if written down, it's actually called Scribble. This post has been edited by ghastley: Nov 24 2015, 10:30 PM

Urgh. Another sleepless night. One of those wretched ones where all that can be found is rest. I don't think I was tired enough when I went to bed, so I never really fell asleep. Still, I only need to write 4,000 words today, so it could be worse.
