ahh, I get it now. He was already hurt from fire ants. I was wondering why he couldn't outrun mirelurks, they are quite slow.
I love the epilogue there, with the raiders finding his stuff and not believing their luck! Yeah, I guess they were pretty stoked for some rare gear + lots of caps. -------------------- |

Wow, I can barely see Tina in that first pic! Where is Drowned Devil Crossing? Is that from a mod?

Drowned Devil Crossing is in the NW section of the map; on the grid it is something like 1:11. It is due south of the Satcom Array 03; past the Mason Dixon Salvage and due north of the Silver Lining Drive In. (not a mod). Misa was just there yesterday,  Ooh, Tina is Beautiful! I have to agree with SubRosa; a hunting rifle is most def scary against a Deathclaw! And from "Furious but crippled," - looks like that Deathclaw already killed some poor Wastelander! Urk! ----- Everyone got what was coming to them: -raiders in a valley behind the WKML Broadcast Station -hostile sniper called the Drifter that tried to practice shooting on Tina's head -Super Mutants from the Mason Dixon Salvage -and last but not the least ---> a bloatfly. Since Tina has to save on ammo, she killed it with her bare fists. The day ended quite well - she found a set of pre-war combat armor in an abandoned tent which fortunately wasn't as badly damaged as the one worn by the Drifter. Spooky river Brahmin - the cutest of critters. Zao, captain of a Chinese nuclear submarine that's been stuck in Boston harbour for the last 200 years. Apologies if any of the links don't work - my internet has been a bit on and off for the last few days. Last time I checked, animals - even two-headed ones - are not supposed to have glowing green spots. That is definitely creepy.
