At least the voices in his head keep Hobo company. Loviatar came across a crashed spaceship today. That means one thing. Mothership Zeta. She woke in a cell with another prisoner, who suggested that they pretend to fight in order to get the guards to come in and stop them. Loviatar didn't pretend. Once they aliens came in, she killed everyone, cellmate included. Then she ate them all. This is what happens when her dander gets up. She came across a child shortly after, and left her alive. Loviatar had a feeling that she might gag on the innocence. Or at least get the runs. Turns out it was a good decision, as the kid knows a lot about the spaceship, and has been very useful. Now it is time to chew bubblegum and kick alien ass. And Loviatar is all out of bubblegum...

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 27 2015, 04:30 AM) Once they aliens came in, she killed everyone, cellmate included. Then she ate them all. Since Loviatar didn't want to write a Wasteland Survival Guide, she could try the Wasteland Raw Meat Guide - from ghouls to aliens and everything in between. The White Glove Society from the Mojave would definitely appreciate it.

That's certainly an interesting take on why Loviatar spared Sally! Kudos! I feel very, very scared for those aliens. It is like the aliens vs predator thing. ** I was playing Chalice yesterday and had a thought about the game. Nuka Cola (which has sat around for 200 years) always gives us hit point return every time that we drink it. It would make far more sense if some of the bottles were tainted and actually took hp away. Say, a 50-50 chance of plus 20 hp or minus 20 hp. Imagine how awesome would that be. Fighting a raider with a missile launcher. You get hit and are low on heath. Take a drink and you kill yourself. But I guess it is like the raise the difficulty and increase the bullet sponge. Oh dear Beth, why? This post has been edited by Winter Wolf: Dec 28 2015, 12:12 AM

Loviatar could write The Irradiated Chef, or The Radiation Gourmet! Have you heard the Gourmet is in the Wasteland? I'm gathering these kidneys to impress her... Loviatar ate Mothership Zeta tonight. She left the other humans alive though. Sally was the most useful - with her knowledge of alien hardware and ability to fit into small places. Loviatar expects she might make for a good apprentice in the future. She'll have to warm up another dose of the Prometheus Serum for when Sally reaches adulthood. After all, there are always two, a Master and an Apprentice... This post has been edited by SubRosa: Dec 30 2015, 02:16 AM

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 23 2015, 09:14 PM) I had another first yesterday. While exploring the wastes, Loviatar ran across some people that she thought were scavengers at first, since they were dressed in the trader and wasterlander outfits (not raider gear). But they all attacked immediately, and yelled something about it being vengeance for Megaton. They were Megaton Refugees! Of course Loviatar killed and ate them... BWAAHAA!!!! That is so funny, I did not know anyone but Moira survived! It may be worth it to try an evil playthrough just to experience this stuff, lol. And I wondered if they put extra dialogue in for low intelligence characters in Fallout 3 like they did in New Vegas? I'd like to try being a dumb and evil character just once too, Not using Misa for that though, will have to make a new character with a Renee name,

QUOTE(Winter Wolf @ Dec 23 2015, 10:26 PM) You might want to add a full on ghoul mod and give into that inhuman desire. Evil characters are so much fun and it is cool to hear that you are enjoying the new moments in the game. One day Beth will allow us to join factions and have a proper experience. Alas, one day....
Yes! Here Here! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 24 2015, 09:24 AM) A created a ghoul mod years ago. I used it to play Medusa, my sniper who explored all the DC ruins. This is Awesome, could you go into ghoul areas and not get attacked while playing this character? QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 24 2015, 03:26 PM) Loviatar has been exploring to the north east today. At Canterbury Commons she had a front row seat for a battle between The AntAgonizer and The Mechanist. Unlike most of my other games, this time the ants won - destroying all of the robots with one ant left standing. Afterward Loviatar talked to the Mayor, and offered to solve Canterbury's problems, for a price.
She followed the Mechanist back to his forge, and decommissioned him permanently. From there she went to the AntAgonizer's Lair, and after killing her way through all of the ants, faced off with the Supervillainess herself. Only to have her demand that Loviatar turn over the Mechanist's armor. Loviatar played along and did so, and in return The AntAgonizer gave her a poisoned kitchen knife, and left town to spread her hive elsewhere.
That worked out well. Loviatar went back to collect her caps from Mayor Roe, and decided to invest in the caravans. With Megaton being a smouldering crater, the caravan traders are her primary means of selling her loot. Thankfully they still show up in front of the Megaton Ruins, which makes it easy for her to find them, since her lair is nearby.
Finally, Loviatar headed farther north to the Republic of Dave. The Former Republic of Dave that is, as she declared it forfeit, being the Ambassador of the Wasteland. Much killing ensued, and now Loviatar has Dave's special key. Though she doesn't know what it opens, yet...
Oh wait, if you blow up Megaton you can't go into Rivet City and trade? Urk! QUOTE(Winter Wolf @ Dec 24 2015, 11:32 PM) Medusa looks amazing. A ghoul sniper is a scary thought. It is hard to say who is more insane- the robots/ghouls or the Republic of Dave. Good to hear that violence and killing won the day. Did you grab the Bobblehead? How many has Loviatar found so far? *** edit- I was reading around on Reddit and came across a post of someone who has built a colosseum in Fallout 4. Amazing how it takes the public to add the things I want in my Beth games. I am still waiting for pit fighting in Skyrim. Check it outHow funny that they made it in an irradiated swamp!

QUOTE(Lopov @ Dec 26 2015, 11:14 AM) Hobo hears a song playing.
It's a happy song, sung by a man and a woman, and they call each other "my sunshine". But as Hobo looks around himself, he's alone in a dilapidated barn, there isn't any radio around. He only hears the song in his mind. But Hobo knows there was once a radio in this barn. If he closes his eyes, he can even see it playing while a strong man is feeding some animals similar to Brahmin except that they have one head less.
Hobo opens his eyes and he's alone again. But the song keeps on playing. Hobo likes it so he lits a cigarette and joins the man and the woman singing "You are my sunshine".
Hobo sounds a little like the homeless hoboes one finds in cities, lol. If I had a song stuck in my head, I'd much rather it be some Metallica song. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 26 2015, 10:30 PM) BWAAHAA! Good looking guy in that vid, lol. (not the ghoul, ) QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 28 2015, 08:43 PM) Loviatar could write The Irradiated Chef, or The Radiation Gourmet! Sounds better, lol. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Dec 29 2015, 09:55 PM) In the ghoul mod I made, Feral Ghouls were friendly to the player character. That made going through the metros a lot easier.
You can go into Riven City and trade just fine after blowing up Megaton. It doesn't really change anything, except Megaton of course, and your alignment. Rivet City is just a long way to walk from Megaton every time you want to sell things.
Oh, okay. Yes, it is a long walk. I make use of the random wandering merchants more often than I make it to Rivet City. Oh, that is Awesome that the feral ghouls are friendly !!! This post has been edited by mALX: Dec 30 2015, 04:12 AM

What song and era of Metallica did you enjoy, mALX? Keep in mind that I did not listen to Metallica after the Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney days. 'Hit the Lights' was my fav. Fast and heavy!

I played a bit of Fallout 3 today, it's been ages. Cho Zenwahn is still walking with Daddy James. I just saw something cool: James picked up a weapon! This is good, because his laser gun fell apart a long time ago. X( And he's been using his fists for the past day or two. The weapon he picked up is a sledgehammer. Guess he feels more confident with one of these than an actual gun.
Daddy has grown some muscles

Pipboy app ON, Date: 11.25.77, 2:20 There, look at that. [censored] amazing. I'm here. I'm at the tallest foundation built by humans still extant, as far as I know anyways, the Washington Monument. I wonder if I can climb all the way to the top? I sure am going to try, if I can. Break.
My Pipboy's showing two green dots on its radar, which means some friendly folk up ahead. Good. I'm sick of super-mutants. unidentified sounds, Pipboy app cannot decipher ...10 seconds ... 20 seconds...unidentified male voice: Hello.Good, you are Brotherhood of Steel, eh? unidentified male voice identified as Brotherhood of Steel: Nothing to see here, outsider. Yeah, well I would firmly disagree. There's tons of baddies out there. Not just super mutants, but also rats and dogs and two-headed cows and lots of men with guns, and lots of women with guns, and bombs and parasites and radiation and .... Well, it looks like you've got things covered here, at least. What the hell is that you're carrying? Brotherhood of Steel: Nothing to see here, outsider. As you can see, I'm carrying this huge [censored] satellite dish, and I'm here to put it up on the Monument behind you. Three Dog's direct orders. It'll broaden the range of his voice, all across the land. And yeah, I'm that "cat" from Vault 101. Pleased to meet you. Brotherhood of Steel: Nothing to see here, outsider. Whatever. *click* Pipboy app OFF, Date: 11.25.77, 2:32

And that's the Capitol. Where the hell are you Margie, you're missing the scenery! ... Ah ... damn. Something's happening down there, I gotta go.
