Gosh, mirocu. Your sign reminds me of the trivia that sometimes sticks in our brain housing group. Like I will always remember from my career the muzzle velocities of the M-16 and .45 as 3250 and 810 respectively. 1400 for my personal .357 sounds just about right.

I´m thinking of getting that sign and put it up on our new driveway

Actually I don´t think I have much against it, only that they request you know how to operate a CNC and evenings and night shifts are applied. Also it´s too far away on small roads so yeah, ticked all the boxes there


I only applied because the agency wanted me to. I still hope to find something much closer to where I live.

I certainly hope they won´t write me back but if they do I will mysteriously fail to answer back as the mail somehow will end up in the spam filter where I accidentally delete it.

I actually avoided another job about three years ago when I had first lost the one I had. I heard they were hiring, it wasn´t too far away and was run by a guy I knew. Seemed perfect, right? Well, for some reason I almost got a stomach ache thinking about working there so I did everything I could to stay out of contact because I knew they were trying to get in touch with me as they had heard I was unemployed.

After some time had passed, six months maybe, I heard the news that they had declared bankruptcy. So even if I hadn´t hidden in the corner and cried like a simpleton I would have lost that job anyway!



Don´t get me wrong here now, I do want some kind of job at some point. Just not this recent one (either) and not now; we have too many things to do at the cottage!
