QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 29 2016, 03:31 PM) I actually avoided another job about three years ago when I had first lost the one I had. I heard they were hiring, it wasnīt too far away and was run by a guy I knew. Seemed perfect, right? Well, for some reason I almost got a stomach ache thinking about working there so I did everything I could to stay out of contact because I knew they were trying to get in touch with me as they had heard I was unemployed. After some time had passed, six months maybe, I heard the news that they had declared bankruptcy. So even if I hadnīt hidden in the corner and cried like a simpleton I would have lost that job anyway! Donīt get me wrong here now, I do want some kind of job at some point. Just not this recent one (either) and not now; we have too many things to do at the cottage! And when you are done with the cottage, you have to bring your little 'Cavator to "Murica" and help me with my son's house!

QUOTE(mALX @ Feb 29 2016, 05:05 PM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Feb 29 2016, 04:49 PM) Canīt have a non-yellow cavator working, eh? Hmm, I wonder if itīs like the army banders that floats that my dad drove when he was doing his service. If so, I can just take it over the pond and hopefully I wonīt run out of diesel halfway across... I took my car and truck with me to Germany - they left the US days before we did; and took a month to get to Bremerhaven after we arrived in Germany. But for two years I was able to drive my own car and truck in Germany! And 'Murica has plenty of diesel once your vehicles get here. Vin Diesel for starters...

Okay, this promises to be a weird day. Firing up the computer this morning I was greeted to, amongst other things, an email from Amazon.com informing me that I order containing the book Fire in the Steppe shipped yesterday 29 Feb. That's all well and good, except that, as returned in another thread, that order arrived 12/13 Feb. The books has been read. I've moved on to other things.
To further confuse the issue, the tracking number Amazon supplies with the new email, when pasted in to USPS shipment tracking, appears to be for a totally different order, one I received 23 Dec 2015!
The order itself is sold through Amazon rather than by Amazon. I just finished shooting off an email to the actual seller to see if that is any validity to it being shipped again. On the plus side, I've received no notice from Amazon of being billed in association with this supposed shipment.
Other than that, this is primary day in my state. Naturally, potentially severe storms are expected to move through my area during the timeframe in which I prefer to vote.

Victor's Shack was getting on my nerves, so I downloaded Bond123's remake of it. Loved the wood (and red porcelain) textures he added, but although he gave the shack a new larger exterior; he used the same interior as the original. It was the complete opposite of the T.A.R.D.I.S. effect - so I expanded it. I used his textures to widen the interior; added tile floors in the kitchen to break up all that bright cedar flooring; and used a vanilla bathroom piece from the Ultraluxe on the Vegas Strip to give another break from the wood floor. There is cooking crafting at the stove and fireplace (Thank you, Bond123) and I added drinking from the sink (Bond123's was a static). I did have a sit-able tub and toilet, but NV didn't like them, had to remove them. Will try again with an invisible seat on both. I also added an outside porch and a ton of sandboxing inside and out. Now if I can just figure out how to get Cass to use some of it! Here is the mod; all credit goes to Bond123, I just expanded on his great work to suit my own taste. http://imgur.com/a/NZHSo

Probably for the idea of hunting with a knife, when you already have a gun.
What's next? Packs Flocks of Crows pulling down Mammoths with their bare teeth beaks?
