After a brief visit to Shadow´s Rest Cavern, to which we´ve never been before, Lothran is now in Chorrol! The cave wasn´t much to speak of to be honest. One flawless topaz and a pearl, but little else of interest. However it was as usual very nice to once again be in the Great Forest

I agree. When Lothran or Buffy discover a new location at this point, it is certainly worthy of a logbook entry.

I found my way back to Severan's game today. He's gotten all his recommendations, bought some Magetallow candles for Frostcrag Spire, and is going to get some utility enchantments done when he gets home.

But he can't go back yet.

You see, every time he goes home he sits down for a lengthy alchemy session, but he's run out of vampire dust. Without that, he can't make his Magebane poison, and he's only got two vials of it left. And that poison is his weapon of choice for fighting mages, hence the imaginative name.

So he's going to have to go back towards Cheydinhal, to the only vampire lair he's come across, to see if more of the creatures have taken up residence.

Well, may he have fun As for Lothran, he´s revisiting Fort Rayles. Haven´t been there in a very, very long time which is why I didn´t remember how to get past the gates. I knew it was something to do with the glowing ball on the statues´ heads (that was quite obvious) and I was gonna try the correct way but got distracted by another idea* and then I forgot to test my correct idea. Will do it in tomorrow´s session




*I tried to get the Conjurers to open them up by attacking them with an AoE spell but apparently they are not clever enough to operate the lever that was right next to them

mirocu: Joan of Arkay was just in Fort Rayles. She had to go back in there twice actually, since she didn't have a certain item to open those gates. And no, it's not a key. Hint?

Yes, I know how to do it now but when Lothran got back in, one of the Conjurers had actually opened both gates. Funny how they couldn´t do it while Lothran was inside


After another day in Chorrol the Dunmer is now back in the Imperial City for his usual business of buying ingredients and offloading stuff. Some will be kept in the shack and some will go to Bruma next winter. Oh, and today Lothran did some spring cleaning and threw out some weapons and trinkets he didn´t want anymore.

My decrepit avatar and Vilja stand inside the Bravil Fighters Guild Hall, where they changed out of battle dress in preparation for a meal at Silverhome On The Water. Their beasts rest at the city stables.

My observation of their activities began in Weye Manor at 2016 the evening prior, the gang's business for the day over and done with. It was a bit late for dinner in the Imperial City, and my avatar didn't feel up to facing the crowd normally gathered at the Wawnet that time of day. Instead, he opted to eat supper in front of Foyer fireplace, while Vil retired to the dining hall for hers. He ate only the main course indoors, then had a strawberry tart and a bottle of milk on his private balcony while watching a meteor shower over the capital. He retired to his bed a few minutes prior to 2200.

Next morning he woke circa 0600, donned travel clothes, roused Vil, rode to IC (with Vil in tow), gathered assignments, replenished blessings at the Temple of the One, and breakfasted at All Saints Inn. They returned to Weye long enough to grab Wolfgang and Groucho then patrolled the Red Ring / Green to Bravil, where they received credit for yet another patrol circuit completed. They delivered two shipping assignments and, as mentioned, changed attire in the Fighters Guild.

Meteor shower? That sounds nice.

Lothran is now in Skingrad and that´s where he´ll be during Easter. Exploring the West Weald is very enjoyable

Explored a fort near Skingrad tonight that apparently hasn´t had Lothran as a guest yet. And surprisingly, neither had Derelict Mine! I´m genuinely shocked that we haven´t been there yet!

I don't think I've ever been to Derelict Mine either. I know where it is and all that stuff but never bothered to look inside.

Which fort did he discover for the 1st time?

Vlastarus, so it wasn´t some remote fort either. Just like Derelict Mine. It must be because they are too accessable that we ignored them

Heh, I've never been inside Vlastarus either. I discovered it for the first time in Manuin's game when he was riding from Bravil to Skingrad.
