Looks to be an unexpectedly decent day, weather wise. We were originally forecast for hours of rain and potential non-severe storms. Those seem to have vanished. Decent temperatures too. I might go out for an exercise walk this afternoon, which of I've done for some days due to either feeling poorly or less than satisfactory weather. Otherwise it's business, or lack thereof, as usual at the decrepit household. My bro decided to forgo his planned visit, leaving me to my own devices. I'll likely spend the bulk of my time between a couple of forum and YouTube. Might even get in a bit of non serious gaming. Or watch a film. We shall see. I swear I've become a walking advertisement for the pharmaceutical industry. Today, for example, I have or will take the following: Just prior to breakfast -- a Prednisone pill to treat what is currently assumed to be a flair up of a chronic lung condition. At the start of breakfast -- my first migraine preventative dosage and three herbal supplements. At the end of breakfast -- my daily multi vitamin. Just after breakfast -- my morning medicated inhaler treatment. 0630 -- my three heart medications. Just after lunch -- another Prednisone pill. mid afternoon -- an antibiotic to hopefully end the supposed lung ailment flareup. At the start of supper -- my evening migraine preventative dosage. At the end supper -- another Prednisone. Just after supper -- my evening medicated inhaler treatment. Near bedtime -- my last Prednisone of the day. I also have prescription nasal inhaler and chest congestion tablets on hand, but don't expect to need them. Oh, and a miraculous migraine breakthrough ender, which I also don't expect to need. It's a wonder I don't contaminate the city's water supply ever time I flush. This post has been edited by Decrepit: Mar 27 2016, 02:34 PM

This afternoon, while Callidus has been playing with Lego, I have been digging up no less than ten rocks. One in the lawn and the rest in the new "driveway" which goes by the outhouse and into the woods. That road is purely for the ATV and tractor. Ten rocks and I´m still not done QUOTE(Uleni Athram @ Mar 27 2016, 01:55 PM) DID SOMEONE SAY BUTTS

Happy Easter Everyone !!! QUOTE(Decrepit @ Mar 27 2016, 09:31 AM) Looks to be an unexpectedly decent day, weather wise. We were originally forecast for hours of rain and potential non-severe storms. I'd say the Prednisone gives you the strength to take the rest of the meds. You know, your liver has to metabolize all that; including the vitamins - which also come in "vehicles" that need metabolizing as waste. What would probably help your liver to continue functioning would be if you could take your vitamin regimen in liquid form; or as colloidal trace minerals; or as micro-foods. Easier to digest and metabolize; lessen the burden on your liver = extend the life of your liver. Something to think about, especially since you can't relieve your liver of any of the other things you have to take; and you know they are giving it a hard job as it is.

Had an okay exercise walk. Did so earlier than planned upon learning that potential rain and storms had crept back into the forecast. Nothing serious, and only a short duration threat period. But it might have kept me from walking at all had I waited. QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 27 2016, 10:20 AM) @Decrepit - My gosh! So much medication, and so many doses only of the anti-migrane medicin! I sure hope you´re not in as bad a state as it seems Funny thing is, the list covers only those conditions deemed worrisome enough to require constant or periodic medication. Two dosages of migraine preventative a day ain't all that many. I could cut it down to one if I could afford the time-release alternative. But my insurance charges way more for that. For years I took 60mg doses. I then went to 40mgs to appease my heart doctor who doesn't like me being on it. I even tried dropping to 30mg, but found it no longer sufficiently effective at that strength. Good thing is, the combo of preventative and as strick adherence to trigger-food avoidance as is practical means that I normally get very few migraine episodes. In fact I don't believe I've had an attack in the past three months, which might be a 35 year record. Whenever my next episode occurs my miracle breakthrough ender should terminate it within an hour or so . . . provided I take it early enough. The irony here is that I have an iron digestive system. It had never given me a lick of trouble. Nothing phases it. Well, nothing except a few medicines that didn't get along with it. Those few got replaced by more sympathetic meds, or were needed only a brief time. On those rare occasions when I can not follow consumption guidelines to the letter issues can ensue. That's not gonna happen unless matters are taken out of my hands, as during a hospital stay. But again, for all intents and purposes I've an iron digestive system. Would that the rest of me function so well. This post has been edited by Decrepit: Mar 27 2016, 11:28 PM
