Picked up the ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas earlier for a tenner.

Interesting. Emma Pickles sold Stuart Ashen´s sofa for a tenner. Seems like that´s the price of things these days



But I thought you already had New Vegas?

Yeah, but buying the ultimate edition is cheaper than buying all the parts off xbox live, which would cost more than £30 for all of it

No, Microsoft just wants to bleed their customers out of every penny they can. Which is why I don't generally buy dlc, or games online, and buy pre-owned game of the year editions which have all the content on disc

WOO HOO !!! Now you will be playing, I will pull my NV game back out! I haven't gotten that far in my NV game at all, had just started the game and then broke off to play a new game of Oblivion a few days ago.

I got the Ultimate version too, for the same reason (cheaper than getting the individual DLC, and it came with some extra packages too) - I played the base game on my XBox when it first came out, but this is my first game on the PC or playing any of the DLC.

(Haven't gotten to any of the DLC yet).

Heh, I'd been planning to get started once I'd gotten further in Fallout 3, but I might as well start early. If nothing else it'll let me get my energy weapons fix, and I'm not going to lie; I'm really looking forward to the GRA stuff. The lack of weapon mods for energy weapons kind of bugged me, but now...

I was playing Fallout 3 last week, but reached the point where all that is left is the main quest and the DLC - wanted to try Broken Steel again, but that meant going through the main questline fully, and was dreading doing the next main questline quest (the Doctor Li walk through the tunnel under the Potomac) - which is what got me started on the New Oblivion game. I stopped fairly early in my first PC game of New Vegas the week before, mainly because no one else was playing it, and I kind of felt uninspired, lol.

And I've got a long way to go before I reach the point you're at in Fallout 3, but I'm still dreading the main quest Though I'm pretty sure my current character's tough enough to survive it, and just about anything else, come to think of it...

And I just rolled up a quick character for Fallout New Vegas. He's Gideon; a Brotherhood outcast. Skilled, Small Frame, and with some lightweight metal armour thanks to courier's stash(I plan to ditch the rest of it).
