I had a .44 Mag once. It was a snub nose and the recoil was absolutely brutal. I shot .44 Special through it and it was very nice. With a full size gun it may not be as bad.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 5 2016, 05:37 PM) QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Oct 5 2016, 03:14 PM) Taurus Raging Bull .44 Magnum
Is that a gun or a Pr0n star? Could be both Anyway I didn't get the .44 Mag BUT I did get another sexy magnum. Say hello to my little friend! It's a .357 Magnum and it can shoot a .38spl. It shoots great but I really need to change the grip on it, it's hard to get my hand around it. This post has been edited by Dark Reaper: Oct 6 2016, 03:44 AM

If you're getting a derringer Bond Arms probably makes the most solid one that exists. Those solid hunks of steel remind me of classy old guns like the 1911 or High Power.
The derringer is one of the oldest existing designs still in current production and as such is a really neat piece of any collection. Even most people who dislike guns are normally okay with the two shot derringer.

The one hed an extra grip on because it was too small for his hand Funny you mentioned Hickok as I just watched him shooting one . The Derringer I have is from Bond Arms, I love it (my neighbors didn't as they called the cops on me for my test firing last night...oh well screw them ). I do need to get a different grip as the one I have is a little too wide for my hand, other then that I love it .

I was just noting that your Bond Arms derringer is a great choice, I was reinforcing the quality of your purchase. I was meaning "if you're going to get a derringer" that the Bond is the way to go in a general sense. Don't forget to submit your warranty registration, it's a lifetime warranty!

I think I got the warranty when I bought it. I will say one thing if I want to a different caliber Derringer all I have to do now is change the barrel to the .45ACP/410 barrel .

They all come with the warranty but you usually need to fill out the factory warranty registration to activate it. You can also register on their website instantly.

Enjoy this video of me and my father playing with our new toys. A day at the range. I'll say one thing firing a Deringer isn't as smooth as firing a revolver.

Heck a Ruger Super Blackhawk was painful to shoot, I can only imagine how a shorter barrel would be . QUOTE(mirocu @ Oct 11 2016, 05:57 AM) I guess they can be used as throwing weapons... One can only hope you can throw hard enough to KO a person .
