QUOTE(haute ecole rider @ Nov 3 2016, 04:36 PM) @Thorny and 'Rocu: Yup, it's that thing called Baseball. Quite boring, actually, if you take away the chatter. Which is what my sports experiences pretty much amount to. So, not really a sports fan. But like I said, I come from a family of Cubs fiends, so I'm happy for them.
Sounds like the sort of sport you're better off listening to rather than watching. Like cricket. QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 3 2016, 04:36 PM) QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Nov 3 2016, 05:34 PM) And for him there is no safe place, no sanctuary, no... Haven *Hrrm* I think Cain, as the Admin there, begs to differ... Stop. Spoiling. My. Menace!!!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 3 2016, 11:34 AM) But honestly, no matter how good Skyrim or ESO or another game is, I simply cannot walk away from Oblivion. I just can´t. I love playing it even to this day even though I may not be as excited about it as in the beginning. But then again home isn´t supposed to be exciting, it should just be a place you always want to return to This. I will always love Oblivion, it will always be the first game I ever loved THIS deeply. I have moved on, but do still enjoy turning it on and taking Maxical around to visit a few friends. Hearing her sing while she walks, etc - it is like coming home. I have even gone in game and started over again at the sewer exit and run the quests again, or even just got in there and threw together another house mod - but not often. The technology has been surpassed, like Morrowind's. The games just were so great for touching hearts; roleplay; etc. They will always hold a special place in my heart. Unfortunately; Skyrim never gave me that warm fuzzy feeling, but it was obviously a great game for many others - just never touched me. And now I'm VERY hooked on ESO, and it feels like the old games but with today's technology; which is everything I always wanted (Morrowind with current graphics/combat/animations/etc abilities).

Morrowind is to Khajiit what Oblivion is to you. It was so magical when this one first played it. One time, Khajiit was lost for hours in the Ashlands searching for a specific cave that a quest had sent me to. When finally found, it felt like a real accomplishment. My excuse is that the Gweden Lodge and Red Dragon Club had got to the point where Clark needed a cold shower, and where do you get a better cold shower than Skyrim?

I miss Clark and his "Interviews" for the Gweden Brothel so much! He brought out a whole new side of Cyrodiil, ll

And I confess to a visit back to the Wobbly Goblet to doodle on the poster recently. I never did download the "Lucky Mudcrab" version before you took it down for maintenance, and it didn't come back, although I have the new sign sitting around somewhere.
