Jumping on a little late to the comparative TES talk, I will say this: Skyrim seems a lot more crowded, visually, than Cyrodiil did. Everything's very hectic, and I much preferred the gentler scenery of Cyrodiil, where I could relax as I walked with my characters from place to place.

How do you mean hectic? The trees run around making fuss?

There just seems to be too much going on in too small an area. All the plants and rocks and other little details like that look a little crowded, like Skyrim got sized down at some point, so they compressed everything to make it fit.

Never get that feeling in Oblivion, not even in small town like Bruma. In fact Bruma feels very open.

The only thing that really bugs me about Oblivion on the 360 is the annoying way that you can see the ground where an Ayelid ruin or Imperial fort is before the fort actually becomes visible. Takes a wrecking ball to immersion everytime.

That, and the grass frantically growing as you approach!

In my game someone quite nicely wanders around with a lawnmower

Must be a dwemer mower.

That'd be cool to see. A steam powered mower aimlessly floating around the fields.

Or perhaps just a Dwemer spider with some cutting discs?

Those wolf vids are crazy. I see that they prefer to sing in a pair. One starts to slow down and then the other keeps the momentum going. Must be horrible trying to get sleep in the US countryside. Between the mountain lions and the wolves- how would you get any rest there?

And what about bears. Does America have many bears these days, or do they stay across the border in Canada?

Good thing our dangerous wildlife stays in the water. Except for those pesky snakes and spiders. And politicians of course.....
