I plan on getting one to keep in the house at some point, but sport shooting or hunting has never been my thing.

The animals are too cute.

Unless you think old barrels are cute too you can shoot at them

I did shoot clays for the first time, back in the spring. Even though I'd never fired a shotgun before, I managed to be pretty decent.

I was actually at my best in the beginning. After some time I actually got worse!



What kind of shotgun did you use?

No idea on what gauge. 12 maybe? There was an over/under, too, but it was a temperamental old girl, so I didn't try it.

I also fired my old man's .45 pistol.

I more meant like did you shoot with a pump action or semi. Or perhaps even a lever shotgun?

My don't know. I know little about guns. Except in Fallout 4.

That 'three shells rule' usually only applies to other places, like anywhere outside of America

It probably took more, but we were doing a 'ya got three tries to hit it' kind of thing.
